	Jeremy Brett was the best Sherlock Holmes actor Holmes' creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a physician and surgeon You can tell he had an eye for detail through Holmes

	It is Jeremy I was talking about. I feel that old but no not really that old but my dad liked him so we had to suffer it

	Holmes was an opium fiend who sometimes injected. Brett was married to Anna Massey the daughter of an actor Raymond Massey who played Dr Kildare's boss at Blair General.

I'm not convinced that it is going to last I have made the decision to clean out my kitchen cupboards today I cannot have another lay about day like yesterday Roast chicken on the menu for today with all the trimmings.

	Morning all and Happy Easter to one and all. If Maz was of a different faith and wanted a major festival day off work to fulfill her religious obligations, I bet they'd fall over backwards to accommodate her! It's a relief to have a bit of sun after yesterday's gloom and raw feeling weather, even if we are going to get hit later on and tomorrow. Fingers crossed that Maz doesn't get blown away or soaked when she goes to the seaside. No ones mentioned the most recent Sherlock series with Benedict Cumberbatch. The casting on that was superb. I tried to, but couldn't get into it I find cleaning and restructuring the kitchen cupboards therapeutic, but I always knew I was a bit of an 'odd ball' I will spend several weeks going to the wrong cupboards but it keeps the brain cells working

	Odd ball? How about just Odd? Mind you, it can give a feel-good high once you've had a clear out. We really should do our dry-goods cupboard as we're losing things. Rather surprisingly, we have been given a Smarties egg. OH had a sulk as he isn't allowed to eat it until today.

One each for my friend and her little grandson, but I think her other daughter is due to go into hospital this week for delivery of her twins, so she will be on standby and I won't see her I wonder, if I go the shops tomorrow whether I will still be able to buy one, in which case I could eat one of them

	How exciting! If she doesnt live too far away, could you pop round to her's? As for the buns... We did have a total of 10 which meant there were loads left for Friday. If we'd opened the Egg, it would have been gone in a flash They might have reduced them in the shops; it's worth a try.

It's time I moved off the sofa. I have been sitting here for too long!! Enjoy your day, whatever you are doing today
