OH picked up a large chocolate trifle (with cream!) and 2 creamed apple turn-overs ;-)

Front bedroom windows washed, and the nets. They need ironing now. It's all YG's fault!

OH gave me an Aldi beef curry earlier. Usually I love my food, but that curry was
worth a lot less than she must have paid. It was inedible :-(

How disappointing for you David. Unless you try something, you never know if it would suit your tastes. Lets hope Mrs David remembers not to get it again.

Maz - these particular curtains are quite thick. They'd be dripping for every if they were to dry hung on the windows. They were relatively crease free on the line, but developed them when they were crunched up in the basket. As it started to rain, they had to be brought in PDQ!

Morning all

David - It sounds as if saving money didn't work this time. How disappointing for you both. Were you able to find something else for your evening meals?
We've bought filled venison pies in the past. Although OH enjoys them, I find the meat to be too tough. They probably use the cheaper cuts for those.

Forgot to turn the bedroom radiator down last night & woke up in a lather. Not a happy bunny.

Washing nearly finished. With a bit of luck it will line dry.

Morning all, that's the trouble with some of the ready made meals you never know what goes into them. I do occasionally partake of WW ones but I usually bulk cook and freeze my own. Very handy on busy days.

The dreaded is just about done for today so I will pop out in a short while to the garden center for some flower pots. I cannot find my large ones anywhere I must have put them somewhere safe :-D :-D :-D :-D

Glad you didn't go hungry David.

Enjoy your outing LG, and try not to spend to much! Its easy to get carried away at those places.

Morning everyone :-) I'm back!!

All this talk of food is doing nothing for my waistline :-D :-D

Where've you been YG??!!! We were beginning to wonder if you'd fallen off a stepladder or something!

Welcome back anyway :-)

I thought LG might have let you know!! I had some malware on my pc and have had to take it in to be checked out. Just got it back this morning :-(

Morning Maz.
Hope you don't feel too tired after yesterdays exertions.

No YG. She did NOT :-|
We'll be having words once she's back from potting and pottering.
Now you've been given a clean bill of health and presumably a more up to date firewall etc etc, you'll be OK for a while. You really shouldn't have clicked on the naked fireman calendar ;-)

YG

YG Report 31 Mar 2016 11:55

Everything was up to date, DET, I have just downloaded Win 10 and re-subscribed for my antivirus etc.

It seems that it wasn't malware or a virus, but a rather strange scam message that froze my computer. Passwords all changed now on essential stuff, but it caused me some real grief and a lost night's sleep!!

Off now to clean the bathroom :-D

LaGooner Report 31 Mar 2016 13:41

Afternoon all. I am sitting on the Norty step DET ;-) :-D :-D :-D. Spent a little bit on a few plants but I was quite restrained for me that is ;-) ;-) ;-). Just finished sowing seeds in the greenhouse and a few little potting jobs. Lovely outside today so I am making the most of it.

YG

YG Report 31 Mar 2016 14:52

Bathroom done!! Just the lounge to go now :-D :-D It has kept me out of mischief and stopped me spending as I haven't touched the shops apart the local one up the road for essentials :-) I did attempt to get to A*** yesterday lunchtime, but the traffic was dreadful near me, so I turned back. I haven't even been near a garden centre, but there are 3 more days left ;-) ;-)

I received my official invitation for the RGP yesterday, so R will have a surprise when he gets home this weekend! 6 weeks next Tuesday and counting and no outfit yet :-D :-D :-D :-D

LG, you can come off the norty step now :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 31 Mar 2016 16:44

Woo hoo - not long now YG.
You're sure to find something suitable nearer the time, and more weather appropriate.
The Sains was crowded yesterday, but with only old codgers like us. So peculiar.
Well done with finishing another room. Only one to go? Do remember to have a bit of 'me time' during your leave <3

Alright LG - we'll let you off the naughty step. Just don't do it again!
You're lucky to be able to pick up plants for your garden. If we like the look of something, more often than not it says Full Sun. Our back garden is primarily full or partial shade :-(
All the same, we've planted up some runner neans and Swiss Chard seeds ready to go into the planters. I've had a go at pruning the fuschia but might have to go back over it when some more buds are out. I don't have the courage to cut it back close to ground level!

OH has gone to sort out the neighbour's computers. She has 3 she wants 'wiped' before they are collected by a charity. Apparently she thought she had 4. No, she's 3 and a monitor :-D
