Morning LG

You don't sound as if you're having a lazy day even if it is sedintery!
We'll be waiting in this morning hoping for the Falconry phone call to rebook, then go food shopping. Truth be told, we could probably leave it for a few days but wouldn't want to go at the weekend.

The Falconry place sounds interesting DET, where is it ?

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 14 Apr 2016 10:40

its near Sittingbourne, in the grounds of
http://www.doddingtonplacegardens.co.uk/
http://www.thehawkingcentre.co.uk/
If we'd known about the gardens, we would have arrived before lunch rather than after.

Our group flew a snowy owl, small and very light. I think the Falconer said it weighed 10oz? They were going to fly heavier birds before the rain set in.

The Aviary isn't open to the general public, only those who have paid for an 'Experience'. However, as they use the grounds to 'fly' them, its possible to come across a group that is.

Morning all

Where do you get 'em David? ;-)

Hope your shift has been quiet/uneventful Maz.
Did you mange to get much sleep LG?

We seem to have had a lot of rain overnight, but it's stopped for now. At least it isn't as cold as the areas north of the north/south divide. Pictures of snow in the Shetlands? Is that normal for this time of year?
