Umm yes I wonder if they knew who her daughter is and it scared the pants off them lol. :-D

That was lucky ZZzzz thieving toerags usually clean them out no matter how little money they have in them. We have had visitors all afternoon and after they left we have had tea and cleared up. :-D

I have to smile when I remember that one time my Mum left her purse on a table in a pub, it had very little money in it but someone still stole it, it was found and handed in with all the money still in it.

Morning all, just back from the vet's with a lighter purse ;-) :-D :-D :-D. She has a throat inflamation and has had a jab but needs to go back in 2 weeks for dental work. My purse will be positively lightweight after that bill :-0 :-0 :-0 :-D

Oh and I had a really heavy nosebleed as I got out of bed this morning so I started the day well with a complete bed strip and pillow wash ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Grey and breezy here and we are forecast rain later. I am keeping my eye on the cat this morning as she did not eat yesterday and only picked at a little this morning. She is usually very sociable but is spending a lot of time in her basket under the stairs. If she is no better in the morning it will be a call to the vet methinks :-(

I remember showing my Mum a picture of what I thought was the orphanage she grew up in and judging by her reaction I got the right one.

Our Union Workhouse was demolished in the 70s but the small local ones now remain as offices or housing depending on the size.

Workhouses are interesting ,ours in Hastings was and maybe still is a hospital ,I have found a few of mine in there

Afternoon, Maz there is only one Grandchild that is shorter than me and he is only one ;-) :-D. My goodness how time has flown, they soon grow up don't they

I am busy composing a talk abot workhouses that I have been asked to give in June. It is mainly about two that we had here but I am adding other general facts to bulk it out

Morning all, just peeking in before I get lunch. We know have a spotless house and I am cream crackered :-D :-D :-D. I am waiting for a phone call from my Physio and then I am a Taxi so I will be pleased to sit down this evening.

Morning Maz, I have just sat down with my cuppa before heading out to the local nursery to try and find a suitable shrub for our front garden.
Lunch sounds good and OH says send him some of the crumble as it is one of his favourites ;-) :-D :-D
