I am going to try and have a few hours away from the computer as I have got very sore eyes.Some viral thing I think.I have some drops to put in now so hopefully they will feel more comfortable.

Piers are you being nice on this web now because if not I am not staying on here. I had a mention from another friend on Genes just that I had put you up to sending these nasty messages to the thread because of a spat which you called it with Frank Niggley Nellie and Annx and I would suggest you should not be on here doing this it is causing bad feeling and I could have done without that message.

And to everyone whoes gone off at you I think these people are just feeding your ego because you just want to upset everybody me included and now you are saying someone you do not know is a nice chap are you b

And some of the messages like from Niggley Nellie are we not bringing ourselves down to Piers level by sending these I chose to stay off yesterday because piers was on
and if anybody thought I would encourage you with your rain of attack on this site are crazy

Sheila, I have sent a pm to Piers explaining the situation on this thread and asking him not to contribute again. He replied by way of an apology and said he would let matters rest. So, I feel that will be the end of it. However, the message of congratulations was quite genuine.

HEAR HEAR Jane,!!!!! with my condition I don't need upset. But will stand my corner if the need arises.

Have just taken the Turkey out of the oven, smells great. They should arrive about 4pm. So will have plenty of time to get Veg done. Sitting reading the paper at the moment.

No Sheila ,it didn't upset me .I just feel it is time for us to get back on an even keel again.
I think maybe if there are any comments to be made which will upset the thread should be sent by pm,and therefore keeping any negative comments off here.(I hope that makes sense)
Andrew I have to say my heart goes out to you,Catie ,the girls baby Mark, and your family.
I hope Catie's morning sickness and tiredness will soon be over and that you can enjoy looking forward to the new arrival.The most important thing is that Catie looks after herself and the baby.

First of all Congratulations to Andrew & Catie , it's just the good news what we all needed to hear on this thread,
I join in with everyone and hope the sickness and tiredness doesn't last for ever Catie,

Been clearing out an old sideboard in the dinning room most of the day. have been trying to persuade OH that we would be better off without it. just takes up to much room and sticks out to far , I am always banging my leg on the corner as I turn into the kitchen, and am frightened that Sofia falls and hurts her self as she staggers passed,
Mind you I had to prove to OH that there was other places for the dishes etc to go and now it feels great to get rid of some of the old cups and non matching plates that I kept there. to
When I think of the stuff that I've collected over the years that we don't use,
Daughter no 2 boyfriend starts his new job tomorrow. everyone is releived that he managed to get one,even if it's only for 6 months , you never know it might lead to a full time one. getting a job for anyone these days isn't easy.

Andrew I am very pleased that you did ask him to stop I do not like it when I am told by some genes member who was my friend on here the site had become a joke and how evertone was laughing at that mans comments.

Congratlations to you both and the best of luck for the furture and would add if he had been stopped earlier none of this would have happened this thread site was becoming a joke to other people

I have just watched Manchester United win that pleased me. What a lovely day it is here today. the family cooking cakes and dishing them up later for tea.

I don't know, have been off the thread for a couple of days and it all kicks off. As Jane said enough's enough. The best way to deal with this Piers person is to just ignore and not respond to any comments made by him/her.

Wonderful news for Catie and her husband ..... congratulations ....... I'm not supposed to saying anything BUT there will be a new grandchild in my family next spring. Daughter doesn't want the rest of the family knowing until after 12 weeks, which is nearly up now anyway.
