Think we all have this horrible weather, it's very dark here, pouring with rain and very windy. Have put another coat of white on the walls of the small bedroom soon to be art room but there is still a lot of filling to do, so I'm down here on the computer having my lunch which is fatal, will probably spend the rest of the day on the computer.

Like you Jane, I say I'm not going to bother to watch I'm a Celebrity but always do, there's usually one or two I don't like very much and quite enjoy seeing them squirming and screaming at spiders and rats ...lol

Really enjoyed Edwardian Farm, it's one of those programmes you could watch a couple of times.

What a day!.I have started writing Xmas Cards this afternoon.It just seemed the right kind of day for it.I was thinking as I did them that I always wrote the cards every year for my Mum as she hated doing them.I even started doing them again for her when she had Dementia and got into a terrible muddle with it all.
The suit that we have been waiting for today has only half arrived.......just the Jacket!!! It said no suitable packaging for the trousers,they will follow!!!!.Then another package came with a Belt.This is from M&* .All that packing.It seems crazy.

Dinner tonight is Chicken Breasts with asparagus on top wrapped with proscuitto ham.Weeny roast potatoes ,and mixed veg.But not till much later as Chris has gone into work for evening Surgery.This is supposed to be his day off!

What a day ,Rain and wind ,but i don't think it was as bad as they said , DIL came first thing with the little ones ,we waited for the rain to ease up and then we went off to As*a and did some shopping ,got a few bits for christmas ,i keep laying all the things i've bought on one of the spare beds and there's not much room left ,think i might start to wrap a few things up at the weekend .

Family has just gone home ,poked my head out the door and i think the wind is stronger now than it was this morning !!!! really gusty .

The S*Y man came and we needed a new part on the dish and a new box as well! Car also fixed and as I suspected, it just needed a new fuse.....cost £1.20......total bill £61.39!! Swoon!!

Jane, I hope those trousers arrive ok !! I keep having a picture of Max Wall in my head!! lol

Frank, that will be a nice break at your son's in Rutland. I bet there will be piles of leaves about after all this wind.

Maureen, I bet you are looking forward to gaining an art room. I wish I had my own den somewhere. Is Alfie back to pouncing on Coco now?

Really gusty here !!! poor old Toby's frightened to go out and he really wanted a wee ....so i went outside and stood there while he went !!!!! the things we do for our animals !!! lol

Mandy ,If Chester is reluctant to go out in the rain or wind for a wee,all I need to do is get the big umbrella and put it up just outside the back door .He thinks I am going down the garden with him and so dashes off lol.Does his biz and dashes back in .Sorted lol.
He has been really out of sorts today.Not sure why,just not his normal self.
OH is up in arms about his suit trousers not arriving.I have told him to leave me the phone number for M&* and I will get on the case tomorrow lol.I just don't understand why they can send a Jacket but no trousers.I'm getting on my high horse now ,so need to chill and climb off it lol

Still on my High Horse...I should have donated blood today ,but stayed in to wait for this SUIT !!!.So the blood bank is one bag of blood down.

Nothing works like that for Toby ,if he makes up his mind he's not going out thats it !!! with our other dog i only had to open the door and say pussy cat in the garden and she rushed outside to see !!

I would get on your high horse Jane , its silly just sending a jacket and no trousers ,tell them you really needed them for the weekend ,you never know you might get some vouchers to spend in store for the inconvenience.

I can say Rabbits,Squirrel,or Puddy Tat Mandy and Chester will leg it .But as soon as he realises he has been tricked he will come in without doing a wee and just give me a dirty look lol
I will insist we get some kind of compensation from M&* Mandy as today was a specified day the Suit would arrive.Chris isn't as good as me when it comes to complaining about something.He always passes the buck to me lolol

Dull here today but the wind has dropped quite a lot.

It was really gale force last night.

I just stand at the front door and tell Millie to "hurry up and wee wee"!! she knows what I mean, but when it's wet, she fannys around trying not to get her botty wet, not easy when you're a lady dog under pressure!!! Bit better day here today, at lest the rain has eased up. Washing on, bed changed! 'A busy day is a happy one' as my Granny used to say!!! A matter of opinion? depends on what the busyness is I would say!!! Whoops! here comes OH, time for coffee!! Spoke to soon, here comes the rain!!!

Morning All
Well I think I have blown away a few cobwebs on the walk .It is a lovely sunny morning and very blustery.Sometime in the night my Olive Tree in the big pot got blown over and the pot is all smashed.The tree looks ok though thank goodness.

Well I have just been on the phone to M&* about the missing trousers."I'm sorry Mrs.Rose" but I cannot discuss the account with you as it was your husband who placed the order"How ridiculous is that.I had all the details in front of me Hopefully they will be here soon,but they haven't even been despatched!!!

Lots to get done this morning so back later.

Well, I;ve beed busy. Cooked a very large, Shepherds Pie, piled high with fluffy mashed potato, Carrots, Cabbage and Brussels. Will take it all with me, all he will need to do is cook everything. What a DAD i am.!!!!

Jane, I knew what you were going to say about M & #. The times I have complained with something Ros has bought. Or when you get a phone call for Mrs. and you say I'm her husband, tell me. NO NO NO. Irealy loose it then.

Off for shower and shave, If I remember I will take pooter with me, then I can keep in touch.

Afternoon all,

Still quite windy here today ,washing been out and in ,its all dry !!
I noticed some of my pots have been moved with the wind ,it was much stronger last night than in the day ,i woke a few times and heard it howling !!!

Jane will OH have a go at them about his trousers ?, thats all you get now ,"we carn't discuss things with you ,only the person who placed the order " its a pity you carn't tell them where to stick them !!!! but i suppose their the ones your hubby wants and if your OH is any thing like mine he hates shopping , he carn't understand why i have to look round the shops and then go back to the first shop i looked in to get what i want !!!

Frank , you are good cooking for the family ,i bet they love you visiting them and taking goodies with you .

Hi Jane I hope you get your missing trousers sorted out.
Mel our garden is lovely and big but covered in about three foot of leaves at the moment .
Frank I have chose to ignore your comments I make a lot about my charity work and ask about people on the thread and you seem to comment only when you wish to make me look bad.

I would like to move but we have a business an off licence and it is open until 10 pm at night the police often pop in
but we did make a complaint this time because 10pm at night is just not on. However it did some good because my ho pointed out to the policemen he thought a young offenders home which appeared last year harboured many bad people and my ho reconised one of them from the mug shots but did not like to say anything because he comes in our shop but my daughter said tell the police and we did and he and two other guys were arrested for breaking into the now closed old peoples home and taking tvs and stuff that was waiting to be removed..

Ann I know we live in a bad area and will move soon we are thinking of going to Spain but even that seems to be having its problems people buy property and it all goes wrong. Anyway I am off to Wiltshire in about an hour to visit
some friends we are all going and closing the shop which will upset a few poeple who regulary come in but we have had enough of the crime. Having said that we have not nearly been killed on a motorway with someone driving in the wrong direction or robbed of money on the internet and had no shooting in a store which some of you have commented on. Would it not be nice if we lived in a perfect
world in fact its not the world its people.

I have just given two of my boxes of chocs to charity a young lady came in collecting things to help the childrens hospice .I bought them at the Nec Christmas fair for gifts but will have to buy something else. Yesterday we at the charity shop dressed as fairies me and Sophia and gave lists to people passing to get them in the shop we are trying to buy this scanner nearly made but need more help.
We looked liked sugar plum fairies but had lots of people
in this morning when I went buying stuff.
Take the mickey out of me if you like but I do a lot to help
other people and you cannot just up and move. I remember Rupert Bear Frank it is a pity he getrs mentioned everytime you want to have a go at me.
