Afternoon All,

Bright and dry again now. I would be out with my camera, only I mustn't forget we are going out tonight at 6.00pm to see the Armstrong and Miller show. OH is watching his team at Stafford this afternoon and I have strict instructions to be ready when he gets back as he will just pick me up and go. He is convinced I will forget......bet there will be a text or call from him a bit later. lol

Frank, I would love your brunch. As you say, that should keep you going for a while now. I bet Rutland looks nice in this sunshine. Shame about your chicken and the fish.

I sympathise with you Fiona as I get tummy cramps and nausea with some antibiotics. With most, after a few days I find my system gets a bit more used to them, so fingers crossed for you. It will be good to get rid of the bug thats been causing you problems.

Maureen, you are certainly keeping up with your exercise. How many mins on the X trainer now?

Afternoon all,

Not a bad morning here ,it's been nice and bright , went to the craft shop this morning to get some more silks for my christmas cards .

Also this morning we covered up all our garden furniture for the winter ,not room for it in the shed so we cover it up with one of hubby's tilts.

I like Marmite on toast too, hubby's not so keen, we have been having Porridge for our breakfast this last week ,nice and warming sets you up for the day .
Hope you get your washing dry Mel, seems to be a slow dry here ,the patio's still quite wet so i haven't bothered to hang any out today .

Fiona, i hope you'll soon be feeling better, some of these tablets have nasty side effects don't they, you don't expect to feel worse after taking them !!!

No Frank , no coast again this week , hubby likes to see the motor racing and i think tomorrow is the last one , also i think it should be a wet day here , not worth going to just sit in the car ,we do like to get out and have a nice walk.

Well,so much for me saying cheerio to Hannah yesterday......she is home again !!!!!!!!!!!!
It was her leaving do in Northampton last night and she was catching the 11.30 train to London this morning.BUT,she felt so hung over and cream crackered when she woke up she couldn't face the journey.So I get a phone call earlier to say Mum can you come and pick me up I will go to London tomorrow!!.So I set off only to find the main Rd to Northampton closed off and a very long diversion of about 20/25 miles.I found a slightly shorter way back home and then my petrol light came on.I must remember to go to the garage first thing in the morning.Have told her she can get the train from Kettering tomorrow.I refuse to do that journey again lolol
Chris said she is like a Bad Smell,just won't go away lol

Fiona ,hopefully your poor tummy will settle down once you have finished those pills.

I am all behind now.My washing is still in the machine from this morning.It is all Hannah's bedding!!!!

Just popped in to tell you about the wonderful day I am having. Birthday's not until tomorrow but we are celebrating today. Son picked me up this morning, wouldn't tell me where we were going or what we were doing, it's a surprise. Turned out he had booked me and d-i-l into a health/leisure centre. We had a facial, a back and neck massage and a manicure ....FAB - U - LOUS. So relaxing, then lunch. He will be picking me up later and we are meeting up with the rest of the family for a meal at a tappas restaurant. Thank you Ann, Jane and Mandy for your lovely cards. I wish my sweet peas had looked like that too Ann.

Sorry you're not feeling well Fiona, won't mention food again if you are feeling queezy. Only another day on the tablets.

Chris has given James bedroom a fresh coat of paint today.I notice Chester has given a helping hand too .His tail is covered in paint lol

Jane I laughed when I read that Chester had helped Chris with the painting. We used to have that trouble with the cats and dogs. Usually the Alsatian, always had paint on her tail and back. Then you would find all dogs hair stuck to the door frame or the door edge.

I haven't looked for hairs stuck on the walls Mel ,but I bet there are a couple lol.Chesters tail is a bit like a flag !! I may see if I can get the paint off tomorrow.

My old Poodle rushed into the bedroom when I was painting the skirting board, and knocked the tin of paint flying, and ran through it all, over the carpet, out on to the landing and down the stairs. I used so much White Spirit, the house stank for weeks, and we still had paw prints on a blue bedroom carpet.

Frank I think it is closed tomorrow too.It is the road from The old Scrapyard to Moulton.I have the feeling it is closed for the weekend.You might find something if you google .It was a B****r today that's for sure lol

You really don't like XF do you??? Chris says What a load of C***.He has gone to bed lol.I think Take that is on after the XF Bet you won't watch that either .I will .I love Take That.I rather fancy Gary Barlow.

I'm watching you!!

Not so nice today and it rained in the night, I was glad I brought my wshing in but it was as wet as it went out even though the sun was out yesterday it was still a very damp day with no wind.

Hope the journey home is alright for you Frank with that road closed.

Happy Birthday Maureen, I hope it's a good one. Was trying to open Frank's upload this morning and managed to jam the computer!!! I even lost the arrow!!! I was so p...d off that I went off and did some hoovering!!! Came back and computer had righted itself and was making a whirring noise, panic, what had I done?!! I managed to turn it off, and whew, its back again and seems OK!!! OH sighed and said "finger trouble"! I nearly bopped him one!!! Off to watch Remembrance Parade, hope it doesn't rain.
