Hope all has gone well with the funeral Frank, did you ever find out the reason why the poor man ended up in the water ? Did you manage ok with the crutch ? you'll have to rest that knee tonight ,hope it's not too painful after walking about on it today .
You've been busy sewing Maureen :-D it's not long now before your off on your holiday is it ?
Hubby has had the day off today to get some jobs done and we seem to have been faffing about all day just doing bits and pieces and you carn't really see what we've done !!

I had that operation Mel quite a few years ago, still just about see the scar, don't know how he managed to drive the car, I tried and it felt like I was pulling the stitches out but it healed very quickly and I have never (touch wood) had a problem since. So hope it's the same for your OH.
I thought it was going to be very sunny today, it was earlier so I got all creamed up but the sun only lasted about an hour and it's very cloudy now, not warm when there's no sun.
I thought Ann would sort you out Frank, I wish she lived near me she could get my bloomin' hotmail back for me :-(.
I bet Jane is having a great time in Venice it should be warm and sunny there let's hope she hasn't fallen in the canal already.
Have finished the curtains and they are hanging nicely in the art room, now to start on the ones for the spare bedroom.

Hope the funeral goes off ok Frank and you manage ok with either your stick or your crutch.
Oh has had an op on his right wrist for carpul tunnel clear out. He has a cut about 2" long across from his wrist to into the middle of the palm in that crease. Hence it moves whenever he bends his wrist.
He has managed to cut the smaller front lawn by putting a clamp on the mower handles to keep them together without holding them. The grass is getting so long........

BY JOY HE'S DONE IT. I wanted to copy the photo's of the TULIPS. Will 100 of each, I thought I would try to sell some and help with the cost.
Good Afternoon all,
Beautiful morning here, bathed in sunshine.
I have to put on a suit, collar and tie, this afternoon, for the funeral . Ros has ironed my Funeral shirt. and a nice sombre black outfit for herself. NOT looking forward to this afternoon..
Mel what has OH actually had done to his wrist/hand. Is it to do with Arthritis ??
I'm not sure whether to trust myself on my stick this afternoon, or to take a crutch. Will try both up and down the garden !!!
Lazy devil, I'm not showered and shaved yet. Will do it when I sign off.
Ann, Glad the final bits are coming together in the garden.
I have the JOB or ROS to put a load of these bulbs in around the front and back garden, pots etc.
See you later

Morning all and evening Kim,
I had a devil of a job getting to the last page again this morning. Sometimes I can get straight there and others I keep getting the Error page and have to go along at 10 pages azt a time or try 100 at a time and then oh asks for something and I get fed up with trying to see the last page.
I thought it was going to be bright today but it is cloudy at the mo. Still not cold though.

Yep and he drove the car down the road todaymuch to my disgust. The thumb bit at the base is a bit swollen though and showing a bit of bruising but thats to be expected.
Frank did you manage to save the picture you wanted? I am intrigued to know what it was a picture of??????????????You can sometimes do a copy and paste it to your desktop too. just click on the pic and hold down the finger on the mouse and take it from the bottom of the pic and still holding your finger down got backwards and up nad when it has turned blue right click and choose copy. Then go to your desktop and click on there anywhere and click on the left of your mouse and choose paste and it should be there.

Evening All,
I see Jane's been frisked!! :-D I wonder if the sniffer dogs checked her bag! I wonder what else she'll get up to. If she's filling her bag with perfume already, there won't be much room for other stuff when she gets there. I wonder how warm it will be. It's been another glorious day here.
OH has 1 more panel left to paint and I managed to get the gate finished today and then painted the shed lock and tealight brackets on the arbour. I still haven't got the new wall pots up and was going to plant them today, but they still need holes drilling in the bottom. I'm hoping OH will be drilling the wall to hang them next, so he can drill the pots at the same time, if not the Pansies will be past their best. :-S I had to water the back garden today, everything was so dry it was flopping.
Mandy, it's great when you find a few clothes you like. Some years the shops seem to have nothing you fancy.
Look forward to seeing the pics Fiona. How rotten for Katherine getting a cold. You forget how miserable they are when you haven't had one for a while.
Frank, the answer is easy to show you but not easy to explain, but I'll try!!
You need to move the mouse pointer over the picture and right click. In the list you will see 'SAVE PICTURE AS'. Left click on that and a screen will come up with a blue hightlighted bit where you need to left click and then type what you want to call the picture. Above that it will show you where it is going to save the picture. On mine it says Ann>Pictures>.
If you just want to print the picture, do the first bit above, but left click on PRINT PICTURE.
I hope your knee has settled down a bit now and is giving you less gyp.
Hope your hubby's hand hasn't been too painful today Mel. Is he still exercising his fingers? ;-)

Have been busy trying to catch up and messing about with my tree on Ancestry, I have been in contact with a lady who lives in France but has the same ancestors , she was thrilled when I managed to pass on some photo's of graves etc, so I thought I would do a bit of tidying up my tree, I carried away :-D :-D
Finely got the photo's of Sofia's 4th birthday party from Katherine, she is chocked with the cold and is feeling lousy but managed to e-mail the pics , will sort them out and try and get some to you all.

Afternoon all, HOME ALONE. !!
If anyone can cause trouble at the airport it would be our JANE bless her. !!
Mel that's a good age to still be keeping a few sheep. Where does the daughter live ?? will it be to far for you to visit. ??
Yes Mandy we are bathed in sunshine too. Doors and windows open and me, still in shorts. That was a load of your mind, NOT LOOSING any animals, and getting rewarded as well :-D :-D
For some reason my file at the hospital is about 4 inches thick. I had a peak at it once. I think everything in my life is recorded in there. I thought that it would have been changed to computer, but no, everybody who was there yesterday had a file. !!!
Ros is at some presentation this morning at the local Council Offices. Not sure when she will be back.
She made a SPAG BOL last night, and very nice it was too. What she put in it I will never know, but boy oh boy, did it give me the trots. In and out like a "fiddlers elbow "last night, and again this morning. :-D :-D :-D I mustn't complain or she won't cook for me ;-) ;-) ;-)
Leg is an absolute so and so again this morning, every time I move, I can feel the bones rubbing together.
It's the Funeral tomorrow afternoon, and a good walk from the car park to the crematorium. Hope I can make it without falling ar#e over head. :-0 :-0 :-0 I will have my crutch on one side and Ros on the other. Pain killers before I set off.
I see that William replied to Ann, so things must be O.K. Lets hope he finds time to pop in and see us.
Where's our David ???

Morning All and Evening Kim,
So our Jane is on her way. Trust her to have to have a body search, bet she enjoyed that!! and then having her bag searched, poor Jane how embarassing. Hope you have a lovely time and relax both of you.
Dull here today again but not cold.
We have to go to a neighbours today who is moving away from the village. She lives just down the road but is moving to live ner her dau. She is the lady who ran the annual dog show which is held in our front garden. She had a beautifull ancient cottage down the road near the woods on an unmade road. She is 80 odd and still keeps a few sheep which are going with her.
Frank how can a hosp lose your records?? What a palaver you had to go through and not something you wanted that day. Mind you I had to wait for ages once with mum as they had sent her records to the wrong department.
Hope you had a better night last night. <3
I am really getting worried about our William now. I do hope everything is ok and he can get on here and tell us what has happened.

Ros had to go to a material shop, then onto Tesc# We finally got home 5.45 pm.
Miss Jane, but hope she has a good holiday.
Will try to spend more time with you tomorrow.

He even got cross because I said I was'nt going to put the camera out one night and took it away from me. I hav'nt seen it since!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I know where it is and I am not going to touch it.

Mandy, the paint looks fine. I think it helped that it dries quickly. But this morning ,just as I was ready to go out and do the post, the men nextdoor turned up and got the saw table out on the drive again. :-S They've been sawing off and on all day so I've left the paint for now. I heard one saying he would be back at 10 to 5 so I don't think I will get it done today. I hung on this morning as well in case the window cleaner came. I seem to not be destined to get it done while we have this nice dry still weather!! It I'd start painting the birdfeeder, only I want to do the gatepost first to be sure there is enough paint. So we had an early lunch instead which was very nice and OH washed the pans up. We heard the Buzzard while we were in the conservatory but couldn't see it.
Violas and Cyclamen look really pretty don't they and there's such a choice of colours. I'm going to stick some of my Begonias in the greenhouse Mandy and hope for the best like you.
Now I'd better get on with that homework and then pack this printer up to go back. What a lot of faffing!!
Mel, that's what happens when men have time on their hands!!! He's obviously feeling fine today.:-)
