Morning all Evening Kim,
Phew hot hot hot, the fan is on and i'am cooling off ,i've only been out to hang the washing out and i'am sweating , the washing won't need long to dry if i leave it too long i think it will be dried to a crisp !!! :-D
I've also hung a throw over the green house ,the poor cucmbers are really wilting in the sun thought i'd give them a little shade, i did nitice that there are three toms now turning red and we have a few tiny runner beans forming .
Oh poor Kim, fancy having to get six of those big tablets down !! lets hope she soon feels better for taking them .
Right time for another drink i think . BBL

Morning to all my Playmates and eving to Kim.
Forgot to say, Shirl showed up on line yesterday, so I SKYPED her. Her eldest son doesn't seem any better, with his medication. I think this morning she will be getting in touch with the ER (A & E) with view to having him admitted for observation and other treatment.. Her young son is at home helping with the situation, and daughter and Monsters stayed over last week for one night, Will keep you posted.
MANDY,I can't get into neighbours back garden, without climbing over the fence :-D :-D :-D I can just see me doing that. I would still be there when they come home next Saturday :-0 :-0 :-0 Ros would have to feed me over the fence <3 <3 I had the new nozzles turn up this morning in the post, together with a DE-CALC filter for the iron. I will fit that later.
With all the expense of setting up the new business in Spain Conrad and Jan are a bit short of cash. So over the weekend Ros took Jan shopping for groceries which we agreed to pay for. She was not satisfied with going to Tesc# but went to Waitro#e where things are much more expensive. When Ros told me. I thought you cheeky little mo. :-0 :-0 :-0. Won't be rushing to do that again. We have paid out over £4,000.00 now. and we just can't afford anymore. Yet she stills throws out food that would be perfectly alright to eat the next day. I have to BITE my Tongue . I think, you have never had to go hungry, and glad to eat what ever was available.
Mel, can't you do an order on line for your shopping. I know it's not the same as going round the shops. but under the circumstances it might be a good thing till your knee improves. <3 <3 <3 See how I think of YOU.
What's up with you Jane, did you wet the bed :-D :-D :-D Doing all these jobs while we good people still rotted in our pits. ;-) ;-) Yes, there is talk of THUNDER STORMS this evening and into the night.
Yes Will. I remember those sayings, and all being good sports. took notice of them.
I see KATE is in labour, wonder what it will be. ??
Speak to you all later.

It is getting really hot here. Just opened up the ends of the tunnel and picked a few sweet peas but all the butternut squashes are wilting and I dare not water them till tonight. My Gardeners Delight toms are red underneath and yellowy on the top. Think I shall have to give them a strong feed. My runners are flowering like mad but no beans yet. Perhaps it is just too hot for them in there this year..........................................the flowers keep falling off.

Morning Everyone, Evening Kim
Totally cloudy today and a lot cooler too, done half the ironing, will have my coffee then tackle the other half, mainly T shirts, for OH and tops and skirt, and dress and a couple of linen trousers for me. nice to see them all hung back in the wardrobe.
Jane I had a piece of beef in the oven & by the time we ate it it was cold but it was good with salad and new pots for adults ,peas and new pots for Sofia, she is like her Aunty Katherine at the same age won't eat salad, but her mama loved salad sandwiches :-S :-S when she was little, Victoria would share here sandwiches with her pet rabbits Peter Rabbit & Benjamin Bunny :-D :-D. we had blueberry flan to follow
Need to pick the blackberries today, they will all drop he we leave them any later. not as big this year as others, they could do with a good drink of rain(, never happy with the weather are we ;-) ;-))
Jane looked out of breakfast room window this morning and there was another mouse sitting on the flagstones, (Glad I was in the house ,so I didn't scream or run,) a huge bird came down and chased it into the bushes, I thought it was a bit daring of the mouse to come out in the open :-D :-D

Morning/Evening All
I have been up for hours or so it feels.I cleaned the main bathroom at 6.20 and was in Tes** by 8. 20 !! I'm now just about to clean out the drain thing in front of our garage door.I think it is called a French Drain. It is full of leaves and if we are going to have some heavy downpours flash flooding etc I don't want the garage flooding again. We always get some water coming under the door with really heavy rain .I have just bought a couple of rolls of bubble wrap which I am going to try and block up all gaps .The ones I can reach any way The garage is so full of rubbish as we are having a skip any day .
I have never heard that expression before William.
Poor Kim having to get all those pills down.Hopefully it will all be worth it and she will soon be feeling a lot stronger <3
I did stupid thing last night.I put the casserole pot with the Normandy Pork in outside to cool off before putting it in fridge.Chris got up this morning and found it still outside !!!!!!!.I think it should be ok as it will be going back in the oven again and then on top of the hob when I add the creme fraiche and mustard. It was very foggy last night and the temperature was cooler so I'm keeping everything crossed.
Right off to clear the drain

Good day to you all. Waiting now for the news to say what the Royal Couple can expect to find in the cot tonight :-D Another historic day.
I was reading something this morning that made me think back to my childhood. When we were playing games like tag, hide and seek etc, if you wanted a truce, break, call it what you like, we would cross our first and second finger and shout 'Fainlits'. Do any of you remember a similar thing?
Frank, welcome back, hope the weekend went well.

All home safe and sound. We left a dull evening in Rutland and as we approached Kettering the sun came out. Now its a bright sunny evening.
While Ros unpacked I watered everywhere including neighbours. Picked our first Tomato., peas are starting to pod up, and the runner beans are starting to appear. Must get amongst potato's and find the carrots, spring onion and beetroot plants. Caulis have flowers developing and cabbages hardening up in the middle. So everything is coming along fine.
Have sent a load of Emails some good ones to have a giggle at !!
Going to settle down with a cold beer and watch a bit of tele.
Look after those bites Mel,
Jane I got all your photo's thanks. Hannah and John have memories to last them a life time. I know when ever I look at my "ROUND THE WORLD" photo's the memories come flooding back.

Have sent an email out with photos of my purchases at the car boot sale this morning. It cost 50p each to get in complete with car. I was talking to a stallholder and he said they were all there at 7.30pm and if they stayed till close (12.30) they got there £6 stall fee refunded - and they all stayed. I don't think the organisers made much money today!!! It was poorly advertised and poorly supported.
Jane I got a load of your photos by email this morning.

Just looked in to see what posts there are today. Got this far but just keep wondering what Mel meant by Sheep sh*t pie????? I'm sorry I can't write any more - my brain is frozen to that statement and I can't come up with an answer - Mel PLEASE explain. I'd hate to go into our butchers and ask for 100 gms of sheep sh*t!!! :-D We went to a car boot sale this morning and there were plenty of horse pats in the field, would one of them do? It reminded me of when I was a lad and there were horse drawn milk, bread and other carts around. Dad would send me out with the bucket and shovel to collect the 'depositst' the horses left for his garden!
Be back later with more Car Boot news. May be (Sheep sh^t ???? :-S)

Oh is cleaning out something to do with the pond. Keeps him happy.!! :-D :-D
My knee is not too bad today and I am not wearing my usual slipper type shower shoes as they seem to have been worn down on the inside of the left foot which is the bad knee. I have on a very old pair of very flat sandels with a criss cross on the front and a butterfly bow on them. You must know what I mean as they were in every shop imaginable a few years ago. Floral patterned. I seem top hurt it if I turn on it quickly so am being very causeous.
Had our lunch so it's only a sandwich tonight and I have some nice tin salmon with no bones in for that and a cue out the tunnel, with fresh fruits salad and icecream.
