Afternoon all,

I have been a lazy "ROBIN". Couldn't sleep last night. Got off about 4 am. Thinking of my children. I know I shouldn't but it still gets to me.

Woke up at what I thought was 9. am when I took a better look it was 8. am. Ros was already up, and had the washing machine onI

I lay in bed till 10 am listening to the radio. When I finally got out of my PIT. I have been watching the "TROOPING OF THE COLOUR" What a sight. Every year that I watch it, I swear it gets better. WE ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD FOR THIS.

Have sent a lot of Email jokes on this morning. Make sure you don't need a wee before reading them.!!

I'm off for a shower and shave and get dressed before madam gets back from shopping

:-D :-D :-D

Morning everyone,evening Kim,

Bit blowy here today but the sun is shining ,we have lovely blue sky and then dark clouds come over and we have a few spots of rain .

Had son and family here first thing as hubby wanted help lifting the new work tops out of the shed ,he's now outside cutting and routering the sides, don't ask i don't know what that means LOL i just keep out of the way in case he cuts it wrong and then i'll get the blame for talking to him when he's trying to concentrate ,don't think they will be fitted today as he wants to do all the cutting first.

Been to Te*co's, it was so busy ,i think i went later than normal and caught the crowds ,of course i came out with more than i wanted, it's all these offers !! i must stick to my shopping list :-D :-D

Jane you must have all been tired sleeping in , good job posty came :-D :-D

Chelsea said she enjoyed her trip yesterday ,no Mel they haven't been before , but oh dear she's getting a right little madam !! she was naughty this morning so she wasn't allowed any thing out of the sweetie tin when they came ....well that started her off again ,crying and putting her parts on !! but she has to learn .

Frank Report 14 Jun 2013 20:40

That Shouting programme has been on, so I have been playing games !!

Will, We have had a very windy and cloudy day, but no rain. I had to go and water this evening, as everywhere was dried out with the wind.

Mandy, I use long handled lawn shears for the edges. I try to do them before I mow, then my rotary mower picks up the cuttings. This week Ros has been planting, hence the earth looking so fresh. Aren't you the lucky one, having all that warm sunshine.

I must spend some time on Google Earth, see if I can find some of my old homes.

Jane, I have never eaten any of that Mexican food, and don't think I will. I tend to be a meat and three veg, type, with Asian on Saturday night.

Decided not to go out tonight after all. That wind is blowing like mad, and didn't want Ros to get the car out, TWICE, to take and pick me up.

Going to find something to watch on my T.V. and get myself a beer.

Been in the garden most of the day but the wind is quite strong here and it has just started raining spits and spots.

William it was just a guess and I thought it sounded better than Y fronts.

Fiona you won't know what to do with yourself went the gang go to Italy. You will be so pleased to see them when they return home though.

Frank are the STORKS on your lawn anything to do with your testostarone (sp?) injections?? or I suppose you meant Stalks.

Evening everyone,

It's been a lovely warm sunny day here ,blue sky and fluffy white clouds .

It's been a muddle here today i had to clear every thing off the worktops in the kitchen so hubby could emulsion the ceiling , we covered all the units so we didn't have splashes of paint every where .

The bit for the phone came today ...plugged it in ....just the same !!! all we can hear is a load of crackling on the line and no dialing tone !!
Getting really fed up with it all now so we've decided to have the electrician come and put new wiring from where the phone line comes into the house to the new box that he fitted last week ,just hope that will sort the problem out .

Frank , your garden is looking really good now, all those plants will look a picture when they all flower , and how do you get those lawn edges so straight !!

Hope Ann and OH have arrived safely and have a nice restful week.

I hope the family have a safe journey to Italy for the christening Fiona ,oh bless little Sophia for saying I will come home, I promise :-) i bet that brought tears to your eyes .

I expect it was strange today being on your own Jane what with James usually there and lately Jess too , but nice for father and daughter to have some time together.
It must be at times like that when you miss poor little Chester , Toby has been a pest today .he keeps getting behind me all the time ,i don't think he likes all the muddle ,i keep telling him off and then i think poor old boy i shouldn't do that i'd miss him if he wasn't here . :-( :-)
Ann said she was staying in Aberffraw which she said was on the left coast and not right coast as she thought .

I will have to ring son to see how little Chelsea got on on her school trip today ,they were going to Bewilderwood ,an adventure park with Treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges, Crocklebogs, Twiggles and Boggles :-D :-D :-D :-D

Jane Report 14 Jun 2013 18:09

Ooooh I must have missed a comment on Franks undies ;-)
William that must have been nice to see your Dad's house looking the same :-D
I have looked up lots of old homes etc on Google ,and find it really fascinating.

Fiona ,Dummies! I remember when I had Hannah and we had trouble getting her settles Chris nipped out and bought a Dummy.....I was not amused....BUT it was the best thing .....PEACE :-D.She kept her dummies until she was nearly 3 and then one day she said "I don't want a dummy any more" and put it in the bin.Just like that .She never asked for it again.James refused a dummy and never sucked a thumb.
My parents were anti dummies.A definite NoNo.
Dummies do look funny sometimes as they are so big and almost cover a babies face lol.I hope Matteo will suck on his all the way to Italy and give Victoria a bit of peace for the journey :-D

Frank I think James is cooking Teriyaki Chicken with sticky rice. But I bet he puts some chilli in it ..which is why I am sticking with a Pizza :-DI know I'm safe there.
Mind you it is a blooming big Pizza.I will probably only have half of it.

Jane, Sofia was actually 3 months when she first went to Italy, so she won't remember anything about that trip, then Adele came over for Sofia's 1st Birthday then the next time they were in Italy Sofia was almost 2 and I think that was the time that it took Sofia a while to get to know Adele though she was comfortable with Daniele's dad Marco from the beginning.

Victoria has just rang and said Matteo has finely took to the dummy, he was beginning to want the breast even when he had just eaten solid food so she knew he was not hungry, it was looking as though he was just wanting to suck for comfort which was not a good sign especially when Victoria goes back to work and Daniele has to look after the kids.
the dummy will be helpful if she has to comfort him during the flight.

Afternoon all, tis Will-I-was here, from The Throat. Wot I wants ter know is me deary-o's, how does Mel know what kind of underpants Frank wears??? :-| I shall have to take care how and where I hang out MY smalls in future. This Google Earth gets everywhere.

Talking of Google Earth, I looked at my old area of Chadwell Heath where I grew up yesterday. I didn't recognise the High Road, my old school playground is now a car park but funnily enough, my Dad's old house still looks the same front and back.

Well, what a day. After deciding it had been a bright morning and that we would go to M*rrisons and do our shopping, we had only got outside our door and into the car when the rain started. By the time we were approaching the store, it was coming down by the bucket load so we had to sit in the car till it eased enough to make a bee line for the door. It's been like that most of the afternoon and down at the other of our close there is a flood up to pavement level! Crazy. As I type this the sun is shining like billy-o and the paths are drying up. I just want enough time to plant up the rest of the planters and get my stuff in and growing.
Mind you, I could have forecast all this. Every year as our peony flowers come out, down comes the rain and ruins them, never fails. And what's more, it looks like an invasion of snails outside, they are everywhere. I didn't use to like slugs - but snails can get places where you would never find a slug.

Moan over, I'm going to email some photos to you all of Baby Olivia now for you to enjoy. C Y A L

Fiona, Oh what a lovely thing to say !!" children can say the most heart warming things, I bet you tingled all over <3 <3

Jane I have been "HOME ALONE" since 1.00 pm. Madam has gone to a patchwork thingy in Greens Norton. She has just this minute walked in doors lol lol.

What are the terrible twins eating tonight then Jane, more heavy spices ??

This wind is blowing the storks for the cherries all over the lawn, it's covered. At least they will be picked up by the mower next time I use it.

Mel, My beans are going up the sticks and netting as well, the pea plants I put in are starting to climb .. No sign of the peas I put in the trench. Everything is going along fine including my garlic (which I haven't grown before) I bet it's a never ending job for your OH with all that grass cutting. At least you know where he is .

It has continued to be windy and cloudy here, but nice and warm in the conservatory, where I have been sitting this afternoon, reading my book.
I have just finished one book and at the end it tells me that it concludes in another book, which I don't have on my Ebook. What a bummer. !!! 400 pages and don't know the ending.

I'm doing a rib eye steak, mushrooms, onion, peas and chips for Ros tonight. I will have a gammon steak chips and a couple of eggs. I got it all prepared while she was out.

I have got the coloureds in from the line, and folded them up, ready for ironing. She won't let me do that :-D :-D

Might go up the club tonight to see the boys, I haven't been out now for nearly THREE weeks, even though Ros nags me to.

Trust everyone is well.

Oh Bless her Fiona!....I remember when she was a baby and they went to Italy she wouldn't go to her other Grandma .Was that about the same age as Matteo is now?

Well I have got a fair bit of cleaning and weeding done so feel I have achieved something.Had enough now though :-D.The other 2 have just arrived back.I have actually enjoyed just being here on my own today. The only one I would have liked to be here was Chester :-( , but then saying that if he was I would have got nothing done at all lol
I bet Chris will ready for his bed tonight when he gets in.A day tramping around in London will be exhausting.I hope a Daughter and Dad day together has been good :-D

Chris bought 2 standard Margarita plants the other day and one has flopped right over :-S :-S.I think it is the wind.I have tried to tie it up but it doesn't look too good.

No sign of Woodpeckers today(not that I have noticed)so maybe the Babies have fledged .There is no Coconut fat left in the shell so I have poured some fat sticks in it.

I hope Ann and Gordon have arrived at their destination safely and that their painful feet held out.Can anyone tell me the name of the place they are staying ?I think it began with a G.Ann did mention it the other day on a post but I can't find it.I wanted to google it.

Managed to get all my washing done, and we have had no rain as yet,

Frank, I will miss Sofia & Matteo a lot but it's only right that their other set of grandparents are able to spend some time with them, I wonder how Sofia will go about having to speak Italian, she doesn't like it when OH tries out his Italian here at home, " no granddad speak English she say's"
I did say to her who will I play with when you go away on your holidays, and Sofia says just play with Kiah in the garden but I will come home, I promise. :-D :-D

Frank ,I certainly remember long journeys back in the days before Motorways.Poor Dad used to be totally wiped out when we got to where we were going.Often it was Plymouth to Edinburgh train..Occassionaly we went by train on the sleeper. That was exciting :-D

I am as Frank says Home alone.Just me all by myself :-D.James and Jess went off to Stamford this morning and Chris is in London with Hannah. No cooking either for me tonight :-D.I am having a Pizza and James is cooking something for them( I don't fancy that) Chris is eating with Hannah this evening before he gets the train home.

The sun looks like it is coming out :-D.No rain so far but there has been plenty of cloud.Very warm though.

Fiona I hope the family have a safe journey tomorrow.

I think I will go and attack a few weeds :-S
