Hi young lady, nice to see you around, glad you enjoyed your meal out. A little od what you fancy won't do you any harm <3 <3 Not good having "Neighbours from hell" I don't know how I would cope with it
I have just indulged myself in a plate of smoked mackerel fillets with horseradish sauce, two slices of B & B and a couple of cold beers. Will soon be returning to my lounger. It's quiet out there at the moment.
I won't be around for the weekend. Jan has invited us up to Rutland. So when MADAM returns from her NAUGHTY LESSON will set off about 6.30 pm.
SODS LAW, has reared his ugly head again.. I thought I would get dinner ready for tonight, fist thing this morning. So I scrapped the new pots, shelled peas and broad beans, did the carrots and cabbage. Put the Lamb in the roasting tin with stock veg for my gravy Then comes the phone call. So I am part cooking the lamb, will drain all the veg, and take lock stock and barrel with us tonight, and finish cooking it up there. Just my luck. !!
Might try to get back later, if not have a good weekend, and look after yourselves.

Hello everyone,
Thank you all for the birthday wishes you posted. I did get out for a meal with the family, plus Ethan his cousin Brad and the grandparents. It is was nice overlooking the water which was being whipped up by strong winds.
Haven't been on as I've been so pooped since going out, takes a lot from me. I had a couple of gin and tonics which I enjoyed and even had a port last night. A bit naughty as I'm not supposed to drink alcohol at all.
I did get some lovely gifts including two lovely warm cardigans, slippers, jewellery including an owl necklace and a few other bits and pieces. Scarves too.
I had the stepson and his wife and children call in here on there way to Queensland last night. It was a bit tense, but I got through it. Have not seen them in over 11 years. They all went to the club for dinner whilst I stayed here trying to sort out my troublesome computer.
Have had 22 degree days here, but rain is coming tomorrow. Washing hanging in the garage. Daughter is keeping the kitten, I knew they would. MORE EXPENSE!!! The dog is having seizures and needs medication, but the vet wants scans done at a cost of $1500 - bugger that. They can film the fit and show the vet. My word what a scam.
Shirl sorry you didn't get your injection done. I was expecting it to be over and done with. <3
David I read of your slow recovery, not good. Hope things move along for you. It is rough to be laid up for so long.
We have water seeping from next door (Steptoe and Son's property). It is completely wet along that side of our house and the garden bed is filling with water. Keith checked the meter and all was fine. He checked there's too and no problem, got to be coming from somewhere, but how can you check when he has so much mess. Will have to take some photos and email to you. The smell is terrible. We though it might be our pool leaking, but no chemicals. Very strange. Something's got to be done. No rain either so dampness is not from that.
Hope your weather is good and sun is shining. Take care and enjoy your day. 8.09 pm AEST.

Morning LADY MEL, and all you surfs/ evening Kim,
Ros is off to her Drivers awareness course this afternoon, she doing a bit. I hope they have pee/tea breaks. as I can't see her going from 1.30 till 5.45 pm without either.
Mel. I dug a small patch where my peas are, and I can't find one. !! So have put it on my list for Ros to get new packet on Saturday. I will then scrap a new trench for them to go in. Hope I'm not too late. ??
Welcome Uzzi. It's a lot easier for us men to pop behind a bush if we are taken short, than it is for you girls. My children would call out of the car window "I KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING"
Have you cleaned you "NEW WINDOW" frames from all the splashes that Chris created. ??? That will keep you out of trouble for a while <3 <3
After pottering around the garden yesterday, and being on my feet a long time. My left ankle came right up in a balloon , I sat with it on the sofa last night, and this morning it's gone down.
I went to feed the birds this morning. When I go into the shed, I have to duck, after putting the seed on the feeder, I forgot to duck when I went back min. CRACK right across the top of my head, perhaps it's knocked some sense into me.
Cool breeze this morning, but very sunny and blue sky's.
What you all up to today. No trip to the coast Mandy ;-) ;-)
Heard from Conrad this morning. Still very hot out there.
Trust David/William, Carmel and Kim are all well. and not forgetting our SHIRL. I tried to SKYPE HER THE OTHER DAY. but son was on line. Will speak with her soon.

The lower deck is by my pond (the newest one) and the upper deck is looking over his pond and adjoining the bungalow and patio to the back door. We get the sun on the lower deck in the early evening but not on the upper deck, if that makes sense! :-D

Morning All and Evening Kim,
Another nice day at the mo but they forcast rain for us later so we will have to see if they are right.
May have to go and get chickens food today but don't really want to go. Want to get up the tunnel and garden.
I spotted a thread on the general chat board about Jersey Royals. Am going to have a look because I don't think they are the same as they used to be.
Is everyone ok today? Love to David if he is looking in.

You sound like you are on a cruise Mel......'the lower deck'. :-D
We always 'go' when there's an opportunity as well............I've seen the queues of traffic on the motorway up the road when there's been an accident.........everyone scuttling into the bushes and the lorry drivers hiding behind their lorries!!
How about getting a Queen's 60th Anniversary Coronation coin for little William Jane.

Hi Uzzi I still do the same.Never leave the house without making sure everyone has been to the Loo.It's inbred from childhood......"Do you need a Wee Wee"......I have shortened it now to 'Anyone need a Wee ? Go now while you have the chance" OH always says to me "Have you been" 'cos we are not stopping :-S There is nothing worse than needing a 'toilet break 'where you can't really stop. When we go on a long trip I get OH to stop at every available service station ,just so I can squeeze one out lol.You never know if you are going to get held up in a traffic jam.

I had a strange memory of childhood today.
As we set back out on our 1hr journey back from seeing Mum I said I need the loo and asked OH if he did also !! It stems back to childhood when we were always asked or told to use the loo before a journey ....... OH laughed at me when I mentioned it and said I do it all the time. ;-)

BIKINI!!!!!! I don't think so Frank lol.I have never owned one lol.If I did wear one anyone who witnessed the sight would be in therapy :-D.Shorts are as far as I go ,and that is just in the garden. I have been weeding AGAIN.That's all I'm good for in the garden lol.Chris is just finishing of blasting the Patio with the new Karch** power washer. He has hung the Dining room end curtains up wrong.Too much pole showing at each end .But I can't sort it as it means standing on steps to unscrew the things on the end of the poles.I'll get James to do that for me tomorrow.
Our veg look like they are all coming along nicely. The Cucumbers in the greenhouse are looking good too :-D.Can't wait to pick the first one now.
Fiona that was great ,you getting to Glasgow :-D :-D Another step forward.
Ann Chris is so tidy too.Puts me to shame really ,,but I always say he has a bit of OCD :-D.Everything in his study has to be just so even the pens and pencils facing the right way etc.Lots of things he does irks me.Like every Sunday morning he has to trim his beard. Not on a Monday or Saturday or any other day .It has to be a Sunday lol.I could go on ,but it would be boring .
I just had a peek in the main bathroom....it's as clean as a whistle now :-D :-D.I need to be tougher, but sometimes `i just find it easier to get things done myself rather than wait for others to get their backsides in gear.It is my own fault as I have always been too lax .
I'm trying to think what to get Little William for his first Birthday, and I am stuck :-S.I thought about premium bonds bit I think I'm right that they can only be bought at no less than £100 now :-0..A bit different from the old days when you could get one for £1.I still have one for £1 that was given to me back in 1954 :-D I think I will go and see how much more Chris has to blast on the patio........My new windows and back door are splattered :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Afternoon All,
That's great you going into Glasgow for a trip with your daughter Fiona.......bit by bit you can do a little more!! :-) That is a good idea to try the hairdresser at home. It will be easier to explain the sensitivity you have there than in a crowded salon.
My peas are doing fine, they are climbing the obelisk now, but my french beans are hopeless!! About 3 eventually grew, then something ate the leaves!! :-|
What is it with some of these men.......they need HOUSE RULES!! lol. OH is like you Frank, he wipes,( but doesn't clean) around the bath after showering and after we've showered, he takes the towels and puts them to dry in the conservatory or outside on the line and then hangs them neatly on the bathroom radiator after. He hangs all his clothes up after he takes them off or puts them in the laundry bins. (they wouldn't get washed if he didn't!) He puts his shoes away when his slippers go on and vice versa and tuts when I leave my slippers in the porch if they aren't neatly 'together' or the left and right are the wrong way around!! lol :-0 He never sees dust or dirt, but he is unbelievably tidy. I wouldn't pick up after grown men unless they were ill. !! :-| Mind you this morning......he was tidying my tools away in the garden before I'd finished using them!! :-S

You be careful on those steps Mandy, don't want any accidents.
Seriously, I don't know why my body won't hold Testosterone levels. When the doctor first started the injections, I felt great in myself, and less depressed and angry. So it must have done some good I will have to look up the symptoms for lack of it in the body. At the moment I have my temper under control, but anything can set it off.
I've done all my little jobs around the house and in the garden. I thought I would sit in the lounger and have a read, and even a doze. No such luck, a neighbour has his grand children with him this afternoon, and the noise is deafening, no way can you relax with that going on. I don't seem to have a lot of luck with quiet lately :-| :-| :-|
Mel. My peas are a new crop this year, I did get down and peer into the ground, and I can see some little green coming through. So I won't disturb them. I did have mice in the shed but put some stuff down and they have disappeared. I think you should be in CROCKS down the tunnel, they would certainly be cooler on your feet. !!!
That's one thing I can be proud of. I always clean down the shower cubicle when I am finished in there. AND NEVER leave any dirty under cloths on the floor, as I take things off they are either hung up in the wardrobe or put in the linen basket. I think TWO YEARS in the RAF taught me to clear up after myself. You should give them PENALTY POINTS for not doing it. Having said that Jan says she has trouble with Conrad, I don't know where he gets that from !!
Think I will water the "PLOT" that is now in the shade of the bottom fence. Be less for me to do later.
What's our Jane up to this afternoon. "SUN BATHING IN THAT BIKINI" don't get your little bits burnt. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Afternoon all ,
Yes another hot one here too ,been shopping and put that all away ,should have gone to the farm for the eggs but as i had frozen things i thought i'd do that another day ,i bet hubby will want a boiled egg for breakfast tomorrow as i haven't got any !!
Frank i had to smile when you said a voice piped up from the end of the lounge saying no more tablets :-D :-D ;-) Poor Ros :-D
Hair cut today ,i'll be glad to have it done it seems to have really grown the fringe bit keeps flopping near my eyes !!
We've having fun and games with our house phone , some times it rings some times it just pips and if you answer it the line crackles and you carn't hear any one talking and there's no tone when you pick it up.!! We have to pull the connection thingy out to disconnect too. The chap should come and have a look at it ,hubby seems to think we need a new box were the phone and internet connect into.
Right i'am off to clear another wall cupboard , we bought some new steps yesterday so i'll give them a go .

Frank my peas are taking a long while too. I have about three packets, BIG packs from Mole Valley Farmers. One I knew would'nt grow and that was open. two others were not and I opened one and sowed some but there is only one showing. The purple podded ones I sowed just over a week ago are up!!!!!!!! Think I shall have to have another go maybe this afternoon.
Were they fresh seed this year Frank?
Have you had a look to see if there are any left where you planted them as the mice will have them you know :-| :-| :-| :-|
I keep meaning to buy myself a couple of lengths of guttering to sow peas in but keep forgeting.
Jane oh is the same with the bathroom. Never puts his towel back in there leaves it wet on the bed inthe spare room with his toweling robe. Clothes just taken off and slung over the bath or in it and the linen bin is just at the other end of the bath. Never rinses the shower out after him either. Same when he comes in from ringing, just chucks clothes on the bed in the spare room and if I leave them there he just gets more out and does the same again..............men :-|
