Morning all/Evening Kim,
Still a dismal day here, overcast like yesterday.
Ros's new Dyso# 35 turned up this morning. It's so small compared to then old one. I hope it does the job O.K. when I get it put together. If not it will have to go back to QVC.
Leg is a lot better this morning, didn't wake me in the night, and the pain is receding..
Ann, they were beautiful photo's you are a clever little "pumpkin" all in focus and such lovely detail.
Ros is off to M.K. with CAROLYN this morning. They were in Northampton all yesterday afternoon. So I will be able to have my bit of "skirt" round later, .
How's the sniffles this morning Jane ??? clearing up, I hope.
starting to feel a bit sickie so I think it's time I had some food. I have had my Asprin and Tablets on an empty stomach, so that could be the trouble.
See you later.

Morning All and Evening Kim,
Well I feel a lot better this morning so maybe it was the pollen that gave me a headache yesterday. The rapeseed fields are all bright yellow around here now and there are so many the sickly smell of the flowers is in the air. Every year there seems to be more of it.
I just had another look Mel and saw the lady too. I hadn't spotted her before you said!
I did a huge shop yesterday and forgot the icecream at the top of the list and bread for OH!! I think I need a new brain!! lol. I hid my car keys that well when we went away last week I had a right game finding them when we got home. I think I'll have to leave myself a written clue where they are next time. :-S The doctor has just upped my thyroid meds for the second time in 6 months now so maybe that has been affecting me as well. I'm taking half as much again as I was last year, so maybe I'll be like a spring chicken soon...........I can always hope!! :-)
OH's back has stiffenend up this morning so he's sitting doing notes for a while. I am going in the greenhouse to put the lettuce plants in and then the leeks outside. Lunchtime we'll be out for the nice carvery and read of the papers.
Frank that cramp in the calf is agony when it happens and there's hardly any warning it will happen. So sore for ages after too. I hope it is ok again now. I've heard about the tonic water remedy, also the potassium in bananas is supposed to help.
Maureen, there's nothing worse than camping in rain........I did it once in Wales. It was wet, windy and draughty and on a slope so not much fun!! After that we got a trailer tent that opened up in seconds and you slept off the ground in the trailer part so was much better.
Well, I'd better finish my cuppa and get cracking now.

Evening all,
What a horrible day it has been here. No sign of the yellow thing.
For some reason the calf of my left leg has been cramping up all day. The pain has been unbearable, and so tender to touch. I am drinking plenty of Tonic water, and will take a tablet tonight. Two or three times it has let me down, but fortunately I was able to grab at something to stop me going over.
The heating came on by itself earlier, I am now down to my underpants !!! Blooming baking.
I'm not going to be late for bed tonight, feel drained. Will lay and have a read and listen to the radio. before settling down.
Hope the cold comes out, and clears up Jane. Nothing worse than a summer cold (if you can call this summer) :-D :-D :-D

We were both saying the same about the soft water last week Jane. I would save HALF of what I spend on shampoo here!!! Wouldn't have to descale the taps, kettle and iron either.....LESS EXPENSE!! lol OH said he nearly got covered in the bubbles from his R*dox in the bath the first time.
Did anyone watch the Australia prog last night? It was brilliant. I couldn't believe the size of that wine making plant!!! The money those truck drivers could earn too!!
Hope you soon feel better Jane. I have a headache tonight and we are off to bed now to watch Superscrimpers I recorded. OH's back seems a little better now thank goodness. See you all tomorrow.......

Mel that is one nice thing about the water in Devon it is so soft. When I used to go and stay with Mum I had to remember to use just a little shampoo and bubble bath otherwise there was foam and bubbles everywhere lol plus trying to wash all the shampoo out was a nightmare. You tend to get used to the taste of water in your own area and water in other places tastes horrible.I find that cups of tea never taste the same as they do at home. Tea in France is disgusting but it is the milk that is different.Almost like condensed taste.Yuk !.Do we all do the same when we get home from away and make a cup of tea as soon as you get through the front door?
Shirl I remember when I had just moved to Athens to work back in the early 70's and one night when I was fast asleep my bed started shaking so bad and all the things on the shelves were rattling. That was a big earth tremor ,and blooming scary.I didn't know what on earth was happening. In fact my bed actually moved a few inches lol
Not a glimpse of sun here at all today :-| Just grey ,grey ,grey.
I just realised that next Tuesday Chris and I are off to somewhere in the Lake District area for 2 nights.(I have no idea where exactly) Must find out lol. Chris did mention visiting Richmond

Nearly straight then Shirl. Enjoying your newly painted rooms. They certainly looked nice from the photos you sent.
Done the shopping and must go and corn the chickens now.
When I lived in Suffolk our kettle would clog up with pure white stuff and I had to wash it out every day. Down here we don't get anything in the kettle at all.
Fiona when the straw hats were in I used to buy childrens ones as they were the only ones that fitted me. I too have a small head, no brains you see.

Spent the whole day in the garden yesterday and still only got about a quarter done. Pulled out all the forget me nots, two sacks full already, that made plenty of space to put the liatris and dahlia bulbs in, it was a beautiful day and I did take lots of breaks and just sat in the sun with a drink and a crossword. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with the celery, will have to get one of my gardening books out, the guy I bought it from said something about not having to make mounds or something.
Welcome home Ann, glad to see you had a good time in spite of the weather, I've only ever been to cornwall once, camping, we were sitting inside the tent while the rain was lashing down with thunder and lightening listening to the weatherman on the radio saying London was in a grip of a heat wave :-|

Nice to know some one has the sun , its still over cast here no sign of the sun !! Fiona sun hats make my head hot ,i tried one on holiday once and when i took it off my hair was wet , i had one with a wide brim so that it shaded the back of my neck ,i think that was a straw one with little holes in.
Mel, thanks for telling me about the water filters ,i haven't done anything about getting one yet ,i should really as our water is so scaley, i could empty scale out of the kettle every day !! :-S
Right i'am off to sort out a kitchen cupboard !! one of the top ones so i'll be up on the step ladder :-S :-S
