I have taken my first hay fever tablet of the year this morning , been sneezing well :-S There was a chap on the tele this morning talking about hay fever ,he said the Birch tree is one of the worst for pollen ,and that this year’s birch season has started two weeks earlier than usual :-S

Morning All and Evening KIm,
Another glorious day here today. Nice and bright but still white clouds in the sky.
Now shall I do the inside of my car today or do I ache to much from yesterdays washing and rubbing and polishing? I did do the windows inside and out yeaterday so it is just the floor to be hoovered.
Liz I do agree with you they either sell them over the counter or they are resrtircted to prescription. They can't have it both ways.

HERE I AM. BEEN TRYING TO GET ON HERE SINCE 8.00 am.
All quiet on the Western front, Haven't read all the posts, but I know you won't mind,
I see Dr CRIPPIN is still at large :-D :-D Have you been banned from the tomato plants ???
Glad you are out of hospital again David, take care.
No I didn't go to Rutland, HOW COULD I. The car sits outside, and me with no LICENCE . I haven't been outside the house.
Yesterday I got up, showered and had weetabi# for breakfast. , Toast and "MY MATE " at lunchtime. I prepared the slow cooker with potato's carrots, onion, parsnips and peas, with two pork chops on top. with gravy. That ticked along all day, and I had that about seven last night.
I sat band listened to 5 live from 12.30 pm to 5.00 pm yesterday afternoon. It made a great change from the B Tele being on..
Had a good old chat to DR CRIPPIN on the phone last night. I then rang Ros, they had been out fot the day to somewhere near PLYMOUTH. Nice warm weather down there. We had a real heavy shower yesterday lunchtime, good job I didn't walk down the pub.
Off for more tea and something to eat. Then will get showered and shaved.
The netting arrived yesterday, so I might ONLY MIGHT get that in position for the peas. I have been told I MUST NOT do anything in the garden, while the BOSS isn't here, in case I fall over AS IF :-D :-D :-D
WILL TRY TO GET BACK LATER> FINGERS CROSSED

No Mel, we always get our presrcips at the surgery so the chemist didn't know me, but even so, either it can be sold over the counter or it can't!! Next time OH goes to the Dr he's going to ask about it and see what he says! I forgot about the top knot, but I'm back to the vet on Wednesday to pick up Millies antibiotic pills, so I'll mention it then. Jane how awful about your hayfever! L suffers from it a bit but not to that extent - it's really unpleasant, but yours sounds grim - hope you get on top of it soon. Lovely day here, so must have breakfast, administer eye drops and then to the garden!

Jane is hiccuping now too!!
I could'nt get to the last page so posted about the car wash and still got the Error page.
Liz It seems strange to me that you can buy the GED over the counter but you were questioned. Was it a place you get your prescriptions from usually? I am pleased that you saw the vet you like and she has hopefully sorted out poor Millie now with these eye drops. Did you ask about her top knot?
Poor Frank, sods law that his pc plays up just when he could have a good natter on here with us while Ros is away.
Can you do a scan on your pc Frank?

Ann ,we were both bunged up this morning .Just a blocked nose feeling, plus I get itchy ears( but ~I can't reach the itch) it's deep .I have to make an awful throat noise to try and get rid of it lol .I am going to be making sure I take a Zirte* every day. Chris said he spotted yellow tips on Oil seed rape today :-S :-S.I didn't want to know that.I just seem to more affected each year with 'Hayfever' type symptoms....I don't like it .Lethargic Ann I find is one of the symptoms and it's horrible. I'M NOT TOUCHING ANY NEW PLANTS :-D...well not until they have all settled in and are growing healthily lol

Thanks Jane for your input. It was so weird, 'cos either you can buy it or you can't!! I think if I'd insisted I would have been able to have it - I just scooted home and looked it up on Amazon and ordered it there sooner that have a set to! Years ago my mother had it in the medicine chest as a matter of course - but then lots of things were different years ago!!! Thanks Ann, that's useful to know too. Jane your account of the lady and the horse reminded me of when we first had a horse for L years ago and that had to be lunged, mostly by her but sometimes by one of us! It could be a nightmare as things could get frisky to say the least, and I can remember being really alarmed at times even though in those days I was still riding - but not that creature! It lived to be 35 years old and scary to the last!! Done a lot of planting here today - French Beans, Toms, sweetcorn, spuds and all sorts, so we should be alright for veg!

Liz I seem to recall Golden Ey* and am pretty sure I have bought it before just over the counter.I don't understand why if it is not prescription why they won't sell it to you :-S Does the pack have a picture of an Eye on it?That doesn't make sense. Poor Millie is having a right old do with her eyes isn't she :-( Hopefully her new antibiotics will do the trick.
I was just watching a Lady collecting her horse from the field opposite to take it in for the night.I haven't seen this horse before. She got it on a long leading reign and started to walk it .Then all of sudden it started bucking and kicking off and it just ran around in circles with her hanging on for dear life.I'm guessing it might not be fully broken in.But it was good to see how calm she stayed.I think I would have run for the hills lol.

Evening All,
It looks as if you can buy it online from B*ots Liz.
http://www.boots.com/en/Golden-Eye-Antibiotic-1-w-w-Chloramphenicol-Eye-Ointment-4g_873012/
Poor Jane with her 'eyesore' too......made me smile......I hope the cream gets it better fast, what with the hayfever season starting as well Jane. There are fields of oilseed rape in flower round here already and the last couple of days I have woken up feeling bunged up and very lethargic. :-( Gawd, I hope you won't kill any of the new plants off!
Frank on his todd with no internet!! I hope Conrad can sort it out for him soon.
Mandy you have been busy if you filled one of those big builder's bags with stuff, we had some with gravel in once and they are huge! OH took some of our rubbish down the tip this morning......where does it all come from. You are so right about us ladies and our handbags as a cover up. Mind you OH will say in a loud voice, 'what are you holding you bag like that for?......just when you are trying to be discreet and not attract attention!! Sometimes I could hit him with it!! lol.
OH isn't the only one who hardly ever gets his car washed then.........mind you, with all the driving to footie etc his gets VERY dirty in no time so needs doing more often. He has promised to get it done next week......that will be twice this year already!! :-0
That's good they are letting you out for good behaviour David......just don't go buckling any more wheels with vvrroooommming about. :-S
While OH was out today I did jobs like clear out the freezer and change the bed!! :-S It's best if I do the freezer while he's out as he always says don't throw it away, I'll eat it.....then never does!!

I'm here :-D Been ironing again :-| and clearing some of the things that have been dumped in Hannah's room.Janice will need some space when she is here.I'll make the bed up later next week. I felt a bit not quite with it today.(not unusual I hear you say lol).Coming home from the garden centre this morning I could barely keep my eyes open.I'm wondering if it was the scent from the Lavender and herbs that were in the back of the car !!
The strimmer broke this afternoon and the Power Washer packed up the other day :-S.... Mel naughty girl a year ????? Saying that I am as quilty. But I tend to use the chaps at Tes**.They do a brilliant job.
Hugo (the dry cleaning man ) has just dropped off James's Suit and 2 more pairs of trousers I had shortened.I gave him the money and he said I will get your change. It was only a penny .I said not to worry and to treat himself lol .Good job he knew I was kidding. I expect David is back home again Vrooming all around and getting under Ellens feet :-D. Poor Frank is going to miss his pooter this weekend ,and no Ros either. He will be quite lost.Although did he say he was going to Rutland?
Pasta here tonight. With a Lloy* Grossm** sauce and garlic bread.No-one is hungry yet so it won't be for some time .James is having Pizza.
I'm looking forward to some good weather on Monday. We have these recliner chairs that haven't been used yet and they are ones that you sit in and push back on the arms .It's like lying in a hammock if you go back far enough :-D.They are soooo comfortable :-D :-D.A bit different from the old stripy deck chairs that used to give Black Pinches when you tried to put them up .Or would collapse if you sat on them and the bit at the back hadn't quite gone in the right slot bit. They were a right nightmare sometimes just to get them up weren't they???
Shirl I never said how lovely all your new decor looks.Love your taps too .You have made quite a difference to your house :-D :-D.Now you can relax and enjoy it all :-D

I don't think that I have washed my car for over a year either!! Might have a go over the w/end! Called in at the vets today and managed to see our lovely vet lady. Millie has an eye infection (no entropion thank goodness), so she is now on a three week course of antibiotics including eye drops, and hopefully this will do the trick! came out £90(!!) the poorer, but feeling a lot happier. Question? Has anyone tried to buy Golden Eye Ointment at the Chemist? The make up of the eye drops from the vet are exactly the same as G.E.O, but when I tried to buy G.E.O for myself, I had to see the pharmacist who told me that I had to see the Dr first before they would let me buy them! Well, OK, BUT, if they are a non prescriptive item (they are) surely they should sell them to whoever without the third degree, if they feel that this is inappropriate, surely they should be prescription only. Any thoughts?!

Afternoon everyone,
Nice and sunny at the moment but we have had some black clouds about and a few big spots of rain which didn't come to any thing . We have been out in the front garden planting my two old roses that i had in pots round the back, they seemed to have come to a stand still in the pots so thought it best if they went out into the garden . I have also cut out loads of dead stuff from the honey suckle ,filled one of those big one ton sand bags with all the dead stuff and we're off to the tip later ,doesn't look like hubby will get round to taking paper off the kitchen walls but at least we have got some jobs done.
That's good news then David home today, have you got to have any more adjustments made to the contraption over the coming weeks ?
Jane, i bet you won't be allowed near these new plants :-D sounds as if you started putting the ointment in your eye at just the right time , and stopped it from getting too sore .
Poor old Frank ,home alone and no computer !! :-( :-( hope Conrad can sort it for him. We won't know if the party's still on now !! :-( and hers me with the bottles all lined up ready to go,got the nuts and nibbles too :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
