Good morning all. It is lovely and sunny here too and already 10 degrees. I had a really good night's sleep last night. asleep by 1045, woke around 2 and then just after 4 but then slept until around 0800. So back to normal now I hope (whatever normal is!!) One or two small garden jobs to do but will no doubt find other things |

I didn't feel too bad all day and still managed to get a few small garden jobs done. I do hope I can stay asleep tonight. It is more tiring waking and sleeping than staying awak all night. |

My goodness Annx, I shouldn't think OH knows whether he is coming or going with being told one minute to take his statins and the next not to take them and having to book blood tests and scans. It's enough to send anyone's stress levels soaring. At least he is happy with the teeth so that's one less thing to worry about. Thanks for mentioning replacement slats for vertical blinds. We have verticals in our lounge and OH's bedroom. They were made by a local company and it's useful to know that I could approach them to just replace an odd slat or two if I need to. We have roller blinds in the conservatory and kitchen and will probably go for rollers again when we get around to it. |

Vera you are right T was in the RN from 1955 to 1968, he could sing hearts of Oak with gusto. But it was not that one. |

My thoughts were Red red wine, Heart of the oak like Vera and over the rainbow for the tulips and I wander lonely. |

Just a quick hallo as OH is making us a lunchtime sandwich right now. Sorry you're not feeling brilliant AnnG. You're probably wise to stay home today. HoH was Heart of Oak. With my weird logic I could see the hollow leading in to the heart of the tree. It is also, of course, the Royal Navy march and at the back of my mind I had an idea that your T was a Navy man, but I might have misremembered that. We used to sing it at school but the words might be considered not politically correct these days. |

I have asked him to send me a essage but he never does. I think he was here so many times as he was trying to get the new mower right after breaking the shaft on the sweeper. He sorted that but now he can't get the deck to cut straight its cutting lower one side. I think too he goes over the moor to take some photos and then comes here afterwards. He meets a friend over the moor who he shares a drone with. He got another shot of the white pheasent the other day too but said it was out of focus a bit so has'nt sent it to me yet. She seems to be somewhere up the top by the old workshop. thats where I have seen her a couple of times. |

I have decided not to go. Feel really weary and just don't feel right. so not worth going for the sake of a ÂŁ10 ticket in case it is a bug.. sorry to miss lunch at one of our favourite restaurants but there will be other days. |

At photography it was the cat that caused a puzzle but I realised when I downloaded it to send out it had the name on. Actually that is Ernie one of son’s cats. |
