Anyone have any presents associated with their interests or hobbies?

I had an Amazon voucher, a few craft bits including three new dies, three Buddas a la 3 wise monkeys to add to that little collection. OH had garden vouchers, seeds, an amaryllis and a solar ball plus golf shoes, socks and gloves.

Not this year but I have just received last year's present.

Won't bore you with all the details but I had an early version of Family Historian. All sorts of problems with a new computer 18 months ago and PC World not doing what they had promised made the program a bit of a pain to use, so last Christmas OH said he would pay for Family Historian 5. Had it on free trial for 30 days but never got around to paying for and installing it. OH has done it for me today. So that's a present really associated with my main interest/hobby.

Ann
I had books, some new pencils, fabric pens, a gadget for my sewing machine and a video is on it's way so I was very happy.

My OH had electronic motors and some lego motors. Not sure what he plans on building but think grandson has some plans.

Which cutting machine have you got?

I have two, the Cuttlebug and the Big Shot. Prefer the latter to use.

I keep looking at them but haven't taken the plunge yet.

I did see another one (I can't remember the name) that would cut stencils so I was looking at that as well.

I've got enough toys to play with at present. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Some technical sounding items there Ann but I am sure they will be useful, presumaby a ring reamer is for making rings? :-)

Requested and received 'Liverpool - A People's History' by Peter Aughton. keep dipping into it. Find it fascinating. Also requested and got a 4x magnifying glass (that also has a light) for all those pesky old photos and certificates.

Only just come back to the forum - trip to a family wedding over 400 miles away!!
Reply to AnninGlos - No just hand held - if you saw my little desk, there'd be no room!

I know what you mean Cassie, my desk is the same, I often think a lit magnifying glass would be useful for craft work. :-)
