Find Living Relatives

I'm trying to find my mother who was Sally-Anne Bennett when I was born in 1972. Her maiden name was Matthews when she married my father Geoffrey in 1964. They lived in Kingswinford in the West Midlands.
They divorced in the mid 70's and she remarried a Roy Williams and had a daughter called Lisa.
I'm guessing she must be at least 70 and Lisa must be mid 30's.
That's about all I know. If anyone knows or has any ideas, please get in touch.

Have you looked to see if any of the people you have mentioned are in anyone's tree on genes?

I think you need Sally-Ann's marriage certificate for more accurate information about her.

I haven't seen her since she left my father when I was around 3 in 1975.
After a bit of digging today I may have found the marriage certificate.
It shows Sally and Roy Williams married in 1981 in Wolverhampton.
The birth you suggest may well be the one I'm looking for.

The Bennett/Matthews marriage took place in Rowley Regis, Staffordshire.

From the marriage certificate, does it say how old she was, and what was the name of her father?

No it doesn't say. I found the marriage on here but not the actual certificate. How would I get hold of that?

Do you know any of the names of your aunts and uncles on your mother's side?.......or your grandparents names perhaps.
This information will help us to find a possible age for your mother.

I would suggest that she is around 70/75 as she married my father in '64 and I was born in '72. My father would now be 75.

(Unfortunately not all marriages have been transcribed, but if you just search for Geoffrey Bennett to Matthews you will obtain the volume. page numbers etc that are required)

If she married in 1964 she could have been born in 1948, making her only 65.
