	I was wondering if anyone can help with German Records. I am trying to find the birth and marriage of a Zeriacus Vogt born c.1810 in what I think is Felsberg, Hesse, Germany. Had two known children. George Heinrich Vogt b.1839 in Germany. d. 1902 in Engalnd. Heinrich Carl Vogt. b.1841 in Germany. d. 1892 in England. Any information is most welcome.

	Hi Derek, not quite a living relative! :-) I might suspect his name was more like Zacharius (as in Zachariah). Do you have it from a son's marriage certificate? Someone has the name the way you have it in a tree at familysearch: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:2:39NF-LPP submitted in 2013, showing only what you have said in your post, with the two children born in Felsberg, Hessen, but no place of birth for the father and no wife's name.

	Apparently Derek is well aware of all that info. I had searched for their earliest appearance in the censuses, hoping to find them with their parents, but it appears that they settled in England as adults and their parents did not accompany them. Derek's question is who the father (and perhaps mother?) of the two men was. Is it really necessary to include all the "COPY PRINT SOURCE BOX" etc etc and the reams of pointless white space in posts here? or at least not to quickly edit it out after posting?
