Am keen on locating Matthews / Mathews who lived / worked in India for HEIC, I C S , Salt Revenue, Customs, Indian Railways.

It's unlikely in the extreme that anyone connected will see your post - which is rather vague. You haven't even given a time-scale

If you have any forenames and birth info, look in 'search all member trees'

If you find any possible matches, send a contact message to the tree 'owner'. If he or she still uses the e-mail address they registered with GR, notification will be sent by GR

They will then have the option of responding - or not.
