Throwing this out there for the first time in several years.

Trying to locate my half sister Elizabeth Ann Fitzpatrick, born 28th May 1959 in Anniesland, Glasgow. Elizabeth was born in a Salvation Army hostel, and we do know that she was adopted as a baby, in all likelihood through what was then known as the St. Margaret of Scotland Adoption Society and as such, will now be known by a different name. Attempts to track down any information through regular channels has hit a brick wall at every turn. Any help gratefully received. <3

‘Information’ on adoptions is not possible. The usual advice is to add your information to the adoption register ( Scotland appears to have its own) in the hope they your half sister goes looking.

this is the main agency in Scotland that deals with adoption record information and locating adoptees, as oposed to going through social services who also employ outside agencies due to time constraints.,,,, some charges are involved.

The wording of your request suggests an earlier post. No doubt you were given the same advice then as now…what action - if any - did you take?

She isn’t in any GR tree other than yours
