I would be interested to know best way to find out if my grandfather received his world war 2 medals. I seem to remember during a conversation I had with my grandmother a few years back he did not receive his medals but not sure of this is correct. I have some of his service books and army number.

Best regards
Ryan

If you have his regiment and his army number I would think the best thing to do is write to or phone the regiment and the they should be able to either tell you if he received his medals or how to go about finding out.
