Seems a coincidence 2 people asking about the same person within a day or so. Are you Nicola's other half?

I have added specific dates rather than just the years from the Service Records already posted on the thread below and where it shows he was awarded the Zulu medal.

So no, not at Rourke's Drift which was 22/23 January 1879, he arrived Africa too late for that.

Henry recieved the Zulu medal in 1879 is it possible to find his war record
I'm wondering if he was at Rorke's Drift ?
