Finding my father’s army records

Hi anyone who knows how on this site works ,my father was in the 2nd ww 1939 till 1945 at Dunkirk,a the the DD landings, I know this I have his medals unable to find anything a bout him not a very good site help anyone .

WW2 service records are not online - they are still with the MOD. You can find out about how to order them here:-

They cost £30 (unless there has been a recent increase) and can take several months to arrive.
