WW2 Service records aren't online.

Try googling for where WW2 POW records may be held
eg https://www.icrc.org/en/archives

https://www.icrc.org/en/document/request-information-about-individuals-detained-during-second-world-war-or-spanish-civil-war-quota (looks like this one has a very limited application criteria)

You may need to apply for a copy of his Service documents which should hopefully hold details.

https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

Cost for other than the person concerned or their NOK is £30 and the documents can take weeks/months to arrive

Ah, here we are - his Liberation Questionnaire:

https://lq-cofepow.org/products/dickinson-ronald?_pos=2&_sid=320e0ec20&_ss=r

Captured 15 Feb 1942, in Singapore.
Held in Changi : 15/2/42 - 27/4/43
Then Camp Omi Japan : 27/4/43 - 6/8/45. [Though Omi wasn't officially established until 23/5/43 - seems Ronald was confused about his date of arrival, hardly surprisingly.]

He didn't make any escape attempts.

Re Camp Omi:

For Ronald's name, scroll down the right-hand column on that page to "Additional documents - G Force list of POWs at Omi May 1943"

His name's also on page 5 of this list of prisoners at Omi:

Re the date of capture given as 17/2/15 in the record I posted yesterday at 17:34 -

it does make sense in the Japanese calendar.

The Liberation Questionnaire says he was captured on 15 Feb 1942.

In the Japanese calendar, 1942 was year 17.
So the date , written as year/month/day, was 17/2/15.
