The 1921 census doesn't mention a disability and he is working as a collier (coal miner) at Tamworth Colliery at Alvecote so as ArgyllGran has already said, it can't have been a serious disability.

In 1921 he's in Whittington with John 1859, Catherine 1871, Cecil 1901, Charles 1911, Cyril 1916, Ernest 1908, Frederick 1903, Henry Baden 1905, James 1891, Joseph 1904, Margaret 1918, Arthur 1911, and William George 1894.
All surnamed Moore.

However, I don't have a sub to FMP to see if it mentions a disability.

It couldn't have been a serious or long-term disability, as in 1939 he was working as a boiler attendant.
