Hi, Shimms, Sandie - and anyone else!

Could it be something to do with Brighton Pier? Just a random thought.

Oh Daphne, am sorry you were on your own. xxx

Hi Diane

We have marble tiling plus york stone tiles in our hall and bathroom. How's you big little sis? xxx

Hi Sandie

Sounds lovely, your OH sounds like mine too, takes a week to do one room yet like yours, I must say, it does look good.

Good luck with your carpets, we have Wilton in the Sitting Room, stairs too ... needed with a dog like our Cass lol. :))

Have been thinking about Daphne's and am totally stuck lol!

Is Jackie away, do hope she's not ill. xxx

Hi Diane ~~
Hubby's a bit of a perfectionist, the wallpaper he had hung in the bathroom was a better quality (he chose both of them) than he was putting up in the bedroom..lol................But the bedroom wall looks great now :))
It just took him a bit longer to get it right..lol
Have to have a think on Daphne's question :)

The question is about a British icon.

Hi and Goodbye , I expect Daff ( bedtime with you )
Sweet dreams ~~ ~~~
Been carpet hunting today, think we may have something suitable ....not as thick a pile as we wanted !
Where we live in South Wales it's too cold to have tiles or laminate flooring.
Hubby put it in and we had to cover it over......way too cold ..on concrete floor.
He put it in in my dad's house, on the first floor and it's fine.
I like to have my feet warm in the cold weather ... lol

Hi Everyone,
Sorry to hear it was not who you thought Diane, it was decent of them to reply anyway.I recently mailed a few people that way and not one replied even though I gave an email address which would have cost nothing to reply to.

The question is about a British icon.

Hi Daff Hi Jackie
This is for you both to read in the morning when you arrive,
Sorry I didn't say I was going, my daughter arrived and I tried to say goodbye but for some reason the reply margine wouldn't drop down to let me put a post up so I'm sorry.
Update on the E-mail I sent to Australia, they got back to me about my enquiry and it wasn't who I was looking for, it was a long shot but I had to try, never mind I'll just have to keep tryihg. It was good of them to get back to me though.
Hope to catch you both tomorrow

Hi Jan and Liz..and anyone else around ~~ ~~
I haven't been on for a few days !
Your guess sounds reasonable Jan :)
Was looking at British Government, doesn't seem to relate to British Politics.
Daphne says it's an easy one :)
Can't think of an answer just now, will get thinking cap out.lol
