Another lost treasure was a home made book of recipes some hand written others clippings from newspapers made by the grandmother of an elderly Tasmanian friend. There were adds for stove black and ancient lace up corsets and all sorts of treasure in it.. |

Looked everywhere it was very old and had been given to me.My favourite recipe was Gypsy Torte it began First steal 10 eggs, yes it made a very big cake to feed the whole gypsy band I guess. |

Yes Daff was just Googling myself to see where they originate. Seems to be all a lot of countires like Hungary Poland Turkey etc have a variation of them |
