I had some friends went to Guatamala and they loved it, they were taken into the jungle, stayed in a bungalow by the beach and said it was practically deserted, I wouldn't have been able to sleep so that's a place I will have to visit by Google lol... |

We loved Mexico Daphne but we did go to Cancun and that is very modern, we visited all of the tourist places, climbed the temples and went to the coast, it's beautiful and the people were lovely, never felt worried and one day have promised to go back, but I do understand where you're coming from, there are a lot of countries I would like to visit but wouldn't If I considered them dangerous, no matter what anyone says. |
