I think I would just love one of those Princess wedding dresses, mine was okay but nothing like they have nowadays, but I love a good wedding.

When we got married, when the world was still in black and white...lol...we had to keep all costs down, but I would have loved one of the weddings they have nowadays, although my dad would have said it was a waste of money and refused to pay..lol

Glad your daughter is feeling better about the wedding now Sandie.
I'm afraid I think weddings have gotten out of hand these days and the whole point has been lost in a need to put on a better show.
In China a marriage is only legal if performed at the government office, then if the couple choose they can have a religious or public ceremony of their choosing but only the government one is recognized. The couple pay for any extra ceremony or party themselves and the parents give gifts of money or furniture party guests give a gift if they can afford to it is quite proper to attend if invited without giving a gift if you are aged or poor.

Hi Barb~~ ~~~

Hows you today ? Fine like me I hope :))

Well I wouldn't have given that clue cos it threw me a bit having seen the answer.
The D is a tiny word, 2 letters, but is actually an abbreviation of the full word,
In the famous phrase the D is usually shown in the abbreviated form.
Edit not a name.. a status or profession.

Ye fine thanks Daff,
She's going for a professional bra fitting this evening for one that will fit properly under her bridesmaids dress, she 's had a trial at the hairdressers. She and one of the other bridesmaids (who is her best friend ) are having their nails done together on the day before the wedding, and are having their hair done at the same salon at the same time. She seems be chilling out a bit now as the chief bridesmaid (who had fallen out with everyone except dau) is now best mates again with the bride and is the only bridesmaid who knows how to do the brides dress and other little bits and pieces she wants, so dau and her best friend are happy to take a back seat lol. As dau said" I'll have more time to do my own make up and chill out before hand !"
