Glad you've got you heating sorted,we paid £1800 for buying and fitting a new combi boiler 18mths ago. I wouldn't have thought that , new value, timer and rewiring would cost as much as that, well I hope it doesn't for you anyway:)

Many years ago we had to pay for a new boiler, cost thousands Liz, since then we've always had cover. Do feel for you xxx

Hello from a lovely warm house!

Heating men returned - changed valve, put on another new timer - and then discovered that the whole central heating system had been wired wrongly! So they have now sorted it - and everything seems to be working.

I'm just not looking forward to the bill!

Just contacted my auntie re my cousins broken hip, she'd been out all day, she's marvellous at 89 (mum's sister, like a mum to me now ).so word will get atound faster now she knows
Writing this in the Emmerdale advert break, fav soap !

Yes thanks Shimms , bless you.. twas a bit of a shock tho when I rang my female cousin and her hubby had broken his hip.
I'm not so close to that cousin, but always remember her b'day cos it was mum and dad's WA.
Shed a tear or few earlier on over that , but they are together again now and one has to think of the happy times they and we all spent together.
