Shimms
the L W is a Song from the 1920 /30s M M and M G...? ( I put up at 20.55)
Jan added
the L W is a song from the 1920/30s Musical Me and My Gal? the locomotive W? ( which sounds good,) (put up at 21.21 )
but according to wiki the musical 'for Me and my Gal' was released in 1942 ( with Judy Garland) had 11 songs none are quoted as ' L W', although I read somewhere about a locomotive being involved ( can't find it again now )
There was a film Me and my Gal in 1932 with Spencer Tracey but can,t fit anything around that.
Are we close ?

Sounds most uncomfortable Sandie! But hold in there!
About Shimms last post, could it be something like...
the L W is a song from the 1920/30s Musical Me and My Gal? the locomotive W? - or am I thinking of Easter Parade?

Thought so hubby has a film on, he doesn't like the Apprentice anyway, so i'm watching bits of it on my kitchen tele, son and dau are in so can't use the 'luxury' of their bedrooms.
Don't have chairs in kitchen, but could take a dining chair in , would have to put a piece of carpet under the legs to stop them marking the cushion floor.
Done that before.lol

Annx,
Apologies for missing out the 'equals' , I typed it rather than c&p 'd it.
Apologies also if you didn't appreciate my suggestion for replies , but it has always seemed to make it easier to continue with finding the answer in the past.
It wouldn't have got that answer lol , it was a hard one.
Can't speak for Shimms , but we were struggling :(

Edit... I was probably typing my post of 20.18, when you had posted yours of 20.11
"This is how it looks now....

A R D equals a C P with 12 R Faces."

Bye for now.
Sandie.

Annx Report 25 Mar 2009 20:29

Sandie you have missed out the 'equals' which will confuse people more.

Oh dear, I don't seem to be doing this how you would like me to..... so here is the answer

A Rhombic Dodecahedron equals a Convex Polyhedron with 12 Rhombic Faces

Annx

Annx Report 25 Mar 2009 20:22

Annx
(with respect)
It may be easier for everyone to follow if your reply was in the format of :-
a R D a C P with 12 R faces
otherwise we have to keep going back and so do you.lol
obviously if one of the words is close ,as you said my 'R' was it greatly appreciated to add that. Could you say whether it was the first or 2nd 'R' and which one of my words :))
as you can see we are struggling here.......to say the least 'lol.
Shimms latest one was :-
a Rectangle Divided equals a Complete Parallelogram with 12 Rectangular Faces.
