I think they do these things to make us spend more money all the time. Why would you want an electric grill in a gas oven! It's silly.

I think wall ovens make good sense, especially when you are getting older. I have a free standing cooker, but I struggle to get things out of the oven sometimes because of the arthritis (hip, back and knees).

We've been walking around Gas and Electrical retailers. We are going to have the kitchen renovated. We have an existing gas wall oven which is on its last legs. To have an electric one installed means upgrading the power supply to a particular socket. Very expensive! but there is now only one model of wall gas oven available, and even that has an electric grill :-S

It's been a lovely day here today, sunny with a breeze.
We went walking in the Country Park. It was only about 13 degrees though, so we needed coats, but it was pleasant :-)
