The worst part of last night, Jem, was that many of the people doing 'work' at the main meeting weren't there, which left the new Master, who has only just gone into the chair, and hasn't held that position previously, floundering. So much for Masonic support :-|

My sincere condolences, Jem

Not too bad this end. I went to a Lodge rehearsal last night at my prospective new Lodge (no ballot yet). I'm now beginning to wonder if I've made the right decision. There were only seven of us there. The meeting was due to start at 7.00pm which it did...with nibbles and wine :-S

The rehearsal proper did mot start until 7.45pm :-|

I have a FB account with an alias, which I have never used, except to look at relatives' pages. I can see the attraction in a way, but I don't like the thought of doing it myself!

I'm not on FB or any other social media. I keep in touch with the family via emails and sending any pics I want them to see by the same way.

I have one nephew who insists taking photos of his new son (well, one year old now) every week since the birth and posting them on Facebook. He did the same with his other son :-|

I think it's a number of things including Facebook and other free social media sites.
I'm actually struggling to keep up with my threads :-D :-D

I'm thinking of downgrading to Standard from Platinum for a while, as I have loads of work I need to be getting on with. Plus since joining the boards my tree has taken a bit of a back seat!
