And I'm quitting there. Real Remembrance weekend for me. Yesterday (7th) was my mother's birthday. Monday will be the anniversary of my dad's death, and on the 18th, it will be the anniversary of my mother's death.

Coincidentally my Great Uncle was killed on 7th November 1914 in the first battle of Ypres.

That's it from me for now. I have some ironing to do; a few of my shirts and a blouse for OH which she needs for tomorrow. The choir are singing at the funeral mass of one of the foundation members of the choir.

In the great Aussie tradition OH has been asked to take a plate of food. Apparently, the deceased had fallen on hard times, so to give her a decent send off, the choir are providing the food for a bit of a wake.

Dr's really happy with the tests. Blood sugars fine and well within limits. Cholesterol is also fine. Good C high and bad C low. I was a bit worried as my exercise regime has dwindled away, but my weight was the same as six months ago although I could still do with losing five or six kilos
