what does the "up" at the end of a lot of your places mean? I take it it doesn't mean high up! :-D Or perhaps it does :-S

Jem, I don't know this for a fact, but the ending 'up' is supposed to be the Aboriginal word for water :-)

However, there are so many different dialects that I'm not sure :-S
