I then tried a search and just put in POLSON without any christian name and this is all the deaths in Scotland for anyone called Polson born beween 1844 and 1846. I checked from 1861 up to 1933. I tried to find his death searching Scotlands People from 1861 which was the last census you had him up to 1933 which was the end of the registered deaths in Scotland and I couldn't find a death for him. I searched the whole of Scotland, still nothing, could he have maybe gone abroad?? Betty

I would be very grateful if someone could look up the death of a George Campbell POLSON born 1844 Sutherland, parents names are Nathaniel Polson and Johanna Morrison. I dont know if he married, nor do I have have him in the 1901 census. In the 1851/61 he is living in Lower Sandwick Stornoway. With much thanks Danielle
