My schools were even more rubbish than that.

Out of 4 not a one of them produced anyone famous,or even remotely famous.

I did get a lift when hitch hiking once from John Noakes of Blue Peter fame and had to sit in the back next to Skip the collie as he was being chauffer driven.
What a nice man making his chauffer stop for me.

But it was in the middle of nowhere in Wales,so he prob felt sorry for me.

I got to ask what I had always wanted to ask

Why did you not keep Shep?
He said that the program makers decreed it was not" his" dog so retired it to a farm somewhere.
He was most upset about it.
Should be too,if Shep wasnt "his"dog he certainly wasnt some other persons.

So that is why he got Skip.
Said it helped,but it still wasnt Shep..

I went to school with Richard Madeley well he was a couple of years older.
I also used to sit next to a boy who then played for Arsenal.
Also the group 5 star went to my school after I left

My former co-vivant the cokehead from Texas once lived with a lady named Ginny in Austin.
Ginny had been married to Jay. Jay was a bit of a lad.

Father in law and his brother went to the same school as Arthur C Clarke in Taunton. His brother was in the same class but I have found FIL and Arthur in the same sentence in a school record.

Actually, I have a complete list of all 150ish threads! At least, the ones that start out with the phrase I searched. ;)

Now we will not know if they are duplicates or not

For pity's sake, I gave the thread number for the one I was talking about twice already.

Too late now, it's been deleted, after some bleating about why I was hounding. I believe all the other 150 are being systematically deleted.

It always reminds me of that short story about ShangiLa. Of course, Arthur C Clarke. I google the phrase in question (the last line of the story -- do NOT read ahead in it!) and get lots.
