Beets and raisins. Now that's a sight to make one gag this early in the morning. This chutney stuff; it's a bit of a Brit taste. From the Indian, of course.

BOOGA BOOGA. It's a scary noise.

Yeesh.

Copied from the Net after Googling "Beetroot Chutney":

Ingredients:

4 lb (1.8 kg) beetroot
1 large onion
1 lb (450 g) raisins
1 teaspoon salt
½ lb (225 g) white sugar
1 pint (570 ml) white vinegar
6 peppercorns
6 cloves
1 tablespoon allspice
Method:

Wash the beetroot carefully without rubbing the skin and cook gently in a large pan, covering the beetroot with water, until tender.
Allow to cool, rub off the skins and dice into cubes.
Peel and chop the onion.
Put all of the ingredients into a large, heavy based pan, tying the peppercorns and cloves in muslin.
Bring to the boil very slowly and then simmer gently until cooked and thick.
Remove the muslin bag and pour into hot, clean, sterilized jars. Seal at once.
Label with contents when fully cooled.
Makes about 5 lbs (2.3 kg) of Beetroot Chutney.

Booga Booga I must get out more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over this side, we say Mornin'

and often "bye bye" at the end of the day ..... yes, twice, just to make sure you've heard it!

or G'night

M-i-l (one of those from hell) was visiting once, it was weekend, and we had been up some time, m-i-l walked into the living room where i was sitting

Mornin' says I

grunt

Me :- Mornin'

She:- Good morning .... with great emphasis

Me: I hope you are well

She:- I do not talk to people who do not say Good Morning

Me (oh h***):- Good Morning Mum

OH then walked into the room and m-i-l turned to him, and said with great pride:- I have just made her say Good Morning to me. She didn't want to, but I made her.

sheesh!

Pub burning down. Just exactly what I'd expect. Happened on Albert Square not long ago (my time, anyhow), conflagration in the Queen Vic.

I have been released from my keyboard for the evening, so I am going home, fully expecting that No.1 will have stocked up on Miss Vicky's potato chips, which he will have done if he knows what's good for him.

How does a Canadian say goodbye? I don't know. We say G'day G'day at the other end (yes we do, those Aussies only say it once, we say it twice). I'm sure Sylvia out there in Lotusland doesn't, but she doesn't count.

O revoir. There.

Oh well, that explains his sex appeal then (whoever he is).....he's ugly, with ginger eyebrows and ginger fuzz on his ugly bald head! Just my type.......not.
By the way, what does an ugly bald head look like?

Do you none watch East Enders?? Everybody knows him. Most people even know his name ... I have no clue.

He's ugly and he, yes, has ginger eyebrows, and ginger fuzz on his ugly bald head. And somehow, he has all the ladies swooning. Ran off with his kid's babysitter 15 years ago, has had serial affairs on her, and hooked up with his son's fiancée.

I *know* this is how you all liveover there.

liveover. That's like landover.
