Legend????? hahahaha.....like King Arthur ? So, are you changing your name to Queen Guinevere then??

Thank you for the breakfast your Majesty!

Who hasn't got a job now? We have friends who pop in from time to time.......they could be our part timers....relief workers........we'll need all the relief we can get with Gins as our boss!

Jonesey....your John Brace. He couldn't be a relation from another part of the family could he who was given to your gt.aunt to bring up could he?

I found a chap in my gt.grandfather's home in the 1911. He was registered as his son but was, in fact, his illegitimate grandson being brought up as a son.

Fortunately his birth was registered though, and this proved it.

I met this chap when I was a very young child and often wondered where he fitted into the family.

.....and Fans, I proved it all by meself, so I was mega chuffed!

Going for my shower before another hectic day starts...

She had a fall at home and then later had a stroke in hospital, although the hospital didnt notice the stroke....

I might need to come on here for lunch and dinner too in the very near future.

And, I said I wouldn’t end up in the workhouse..........well of course I won’t as we don’t have those luxuries these days!

Oh no.....I’m an orphan too

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

just spent an hour on the web trying to make reservations on the ferry for our trip to Vancouver Island in a couple of weeks time.

Everything went well, until it was time to access my account, which I have had for years

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr no I don't have an account it seems

password not accepted, asked for reminder, email address not on file

WHAT!

I then went round 3 times trying to register anew

Before we'd finished, OH was standing beside me counting each stroke for my password, and other secret symbols

finally managed to get accepted, and to get reservations for the two trips .............. although I really wasn't sure whether I was booking 3 trips in one direction by the time I'd finished!

gotta go have a lie down to recover before getting breakfast ready

Perfect

I have a place.

Do I get a naughty nurse uniform?

Renes

Renes Report 21 Sep 2010 22:36

LK

of course - our staff nurse - we need someone to get the

fag ash out of our eyes - on windy days

Remember the times of Dea Dea s pills

Keep track of JC s clinical appointments

Monitor Jax s voddy intake

Make sure Cyns sits down between all her cleaning duties - and does not burn herself on the iron

Make sure Fans comes in from the lamp post
For a break

And keep Ginny cheerful

JaneyCanuck Report 21 Sep 2010 22:30

Yes.

On John B ...

I wonder whether maybe "John Brace" were given names, and he dropped his surname?

Just looking for possible candidates for daddy, found:

Name: John Brace Brookes
Year of Registration: 1878
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Walsall
County: Staffordshire
Volume: 6b
Page: 796

Married in Walsall reg dist 1909.

Just a wild theory. But the only younger John B Brookes born around the time was to a William and his Fortunato wife (mistranscribed Fortunate at FreeBMD, and they had many more).

And John Brace Brookes and wife Emily Marguerite (Jones) were together in Maldon in the 1911 ... and both died in Droxford, Hampshire, so it doesn't look like they parted. ;)

I think Janey will make an excellent
typist - but no laptop keyboards -

And can act as our thesaurus - when we are - lost for words
She can rattle out all Jax s research - my invoices - and all the Management meetings notes -

And look how much paper she can Dave the Firm ------ no white space
