I however think that the contemplative nature, is more of a mellowing experience rather than the “wham bam flush and leave” option.

I am of the Contemplative kind,so I must have a fair few Male Hormones then.
But I learnt early in life that no one could get you to do much work if you retreated to the smallest room, barred the door and said you were of the "Eggs again I ,ll be bound"kind.

At least 15 of peace.

I am baaaaaccccccckkkkkkkkkk.

I have some very sad news......

My neighbour (I don’t know his name) who lives 8 doors down from me had a phone call about 21 minutes ago

His second cousin three times removed, who lives in Canada told him that, his brothers wife’s work colleague’s neighbour who lives in Oz has just found the cat dead in the goldfish bowl

Two deaths in one household at the same time. The goldfish copped it before the cats lungs filled with water

I’m off to the shop to send them a card...sob sob

Gee Report 18 Sep 2010 15:26

Robert.....toilet humour indeed

A work collegue used to take the paper in with him every morning, along with his packet of digestives

He then had his biscuits on his desk for all to help themelves! Dirty Ken.....

And I shall ask you Robert. Why do men poop anywhere, any toilet, any time no matter who is around?

I like to keep my 'business' private and in my own home thank you

.....unless like Alex Ferguson you get caught doing 90 down the hard shoulder. When pulled over by the cops he said he had the sh#ts.

Robert

There was a discussion on this very subject on the radio the other day --------all males agreed 100%

All females disagreed

One woman rung into say - it was a waste of time - when one could be doing gardening diy cleaning car etc

The switch board was jammed immediately in response - from males

All saying exactly the same -----------------Thats why men stay in there - to escape "the little jobs wifey has planned"

and indeed Male sacrament

I have a very delicate question to pose to all the ladies here. When I have to attend a certain small room in the house I always take some current literature with me, newspaper, magazine or crossword. These items of literature are usually of such a length that the seating time is approximately 15 minutes. It is my contention that this time is quiet contemplative minutes being at one with the literature, my wife on the other hand compares the time to the equivalent of a male sacrament. She says that one should go flush and leave the room in an expeditious manner. I however think that the contemplative nature, is more of a mellowing experience rather than the “wham bam flush and leave” option. Am I unique or is this something that is prevalent in other households.

EDIT ------Jonesey how about one of your Claire Voyants type threads - I will defend you cause I can hide behind the others - with Dea

How's the kitchen scene doing at your place then? don't forget you are welcome to stay and we can do that coffee shop run....don't be tempted by Gins wine bars.......too noisy.

Thanks for looking at the Autism quotient thing folks. I have seen 'Amy' mentioned before Gins. She is not popular to say the least.

Hi, ladies & gents, -- though I use the term loosely ;-)

However, I haven’t seen anything from Peter for awhile, and Michael & Jonesey only flitter in every so often, plus Robert might need a rest now after providing all those magnificent breakfasts.

I wish all my food had been so light & fluffy as the breakfasts that Robert & Sylvia have been providing. Then I would not have to worry about my lack of exercise sitting in front of my computer for so long each day.

I had actually let my membership lapse (without the big farewell scene), as I have been so busy chasing leads & info on branches of my own family tree .... ancestry has released more info that was very useful to me.

I have not posted on this thread since the numbers were still in double figures, but every day I would check it out to see what all of you had been up to.
Your antics and discussions are the ‘high-light’ of my day... I know.. easily entertained.

So, thank you “ladies” for a great start to my day. You are all *stars* in your own way.

Ohh Sylvia,

I was looking forward to a 'light' breakfast this morning and now I have had to eat all those lovely' sausages, bacon, eggs....and mushrooms.......and tomatoes...............AND fried bread, all washed down with a couple of mimosas !!!

I did resist the fruit salad though and just had a Danish Pastry for pud !!

Delicious!!!!!!!!!!

I can see that I am not going to lose all that extra weight I put on while Robert was 'on duty'
