If anyone see's Janey, can you let her know i might have the last Chelsea Pensioner she is looking for.

I'm at work all day, but id someone want to message me on FB (when they've seen her) i can send her the images over at work.

I think she maybe had a good reason to imbibe


She was also an excellent university President (SFU), before she went into politics.


as for stories of politicians, I have a close friend who worked closely with Kim Campbell on the election trail after her few months as PM. Those stories would make your hair curl!


Said friend was later in charge of the secretarial staff for Brian Mulroney! She had the wonderful experience of giving herself the pink slip ........ after she had laid off everyone else!

JC .......... it's amazing how many Lees there are in the Vancouver phone book .......... I think it runs to about 10 pages, 3 columns to a page

My good friend Mr Lee in Vancouver had that problem. ;)

He was the assistant to ... what's her name ... Jewett? MP. Pauline Jewett. During the 84 election he was sent back to the riding to work on the campaign. And he got a constant stream of calls from other candidates' reps trying to talk to him in Cantonese or Mandarin. He barely spoke French. Scottish through and through!

One census saying he was born in Ireland could be a mistake but not two by his mother.
Whether he will ever find his birth reg thats another matter, if he was registered in the mothers name how many Murphy's must there be born in Ireland?
