Hi all


heavy rain on Sunday, loss of internet service Monday all day, able to get internet on Tuesday but out all day so not able to use it.


This seems to have happened 2 or 3 times over the last few months in similar circumstances.

Think I shall have to start keeping a weather record and then see if the provider can find the answer!!


I have still not been able to read back over the last 10 days worth of happenings!

I actually saw the other thread which was about the great grandmother so I had also given her 1911 and 1901 census's for her plus a 1891 census for the father Robert which also could not be found on GR for some strange reason

None of the "volunteer helpers" here needs to be spoken to this way. I do not know what was in the previous post since it has been deleted. I doubt very much that it warranted this snotty and nasty reply. This individual asked for help because her platinum membership didn't get her what she wanted. That's not the fault of any "volunteer helper" and none of us cares to be treated like this. Whose patronage is worth more - the "volunteer helpers" or the platinum members? I wonder.

Snicker snicker. I found one of those "nn" names in trees, and sent a nice PM; the name the PM is sent to is an M surname, the tree owner, but in my contacts it's a D surname, the name on the deleted post in the dredged-up thread (one is birth, one is married). Can there be two??

Taught my granddaughter how to make blackberry & apple crumble tonight. She did a brilliant job. Locally picked blackberries and donated apples!

It happens to everyone - I have only ever done two look ups for people - and both of them sent me permissions to view their trees and kept asking to view mine - as they thought it would help them !!!!
