Afternoon all

Dea the message was only to say "No that was not my Tree" which I suggested he added to his thread incase you did'nt see it...but he deleted his post after he made a comment about me thinking I would'nt see it perhaps?

Does anyone think I am wrong in making comment on this one

Thanks for that Dea - I eventually got through...too late to wake her up though!!! Don't know what happened at all.

Poor Fans must have very sore fingers.....she is forever tying them together because they get her into trouble.

I have such mixed feelings about some of the arguments on here and try to put myself in other's shoes before making a judgement.

I know from the last couple of years experience in sending my messages out, how much many people struggle in using this site. Not that that excuses any rudeness of course, but I sometimes wish there was a little more patience with newcomers.

I also wish the newcomers would make an effort to see how things work before they post.....but hey, I can't say much on that point!!!

Off to Tesco's later.....deep joy.

I got your PM fine Cyn,and have responded equally easily.

JC
I had noted that and have often felt like putting my pennorh in,but as I never involve myself in a free for all(its beneath me !) I have tied my fingers together everytime I have seen it.

Hi Cynthia,

I haven't actually sent her a pm but when I clicked on her name the usual boxes came up for me to type in. Are you not getting them at all or can you type it in and it won't send?

Morning all. Got a slight prob here. Am trying to send Fans of the flat feet a pm and it keeps showing that the website cannot display the page. Sent one to Jax no probs. Could someone else see if they have the same problem please?

Thank you kindly.

Well, that took a while - I had to go and google 'pablum' as Robert had added it as an extra to the menu!

Result - arrrghhh - nasty smelling stuff so didn't bother.

Stuck to my eggs and bacon which Robert had kindly cooked for me exactly as I had requested

Thank's Robert that was 'Wonderful' !!

Just thinking about our Renes - she will be at the hospital with that poor Danish Lady just now!!

I hope everything works out well for them.

Hi Jax,

Wasn't here last night but you said something about someone posting 'a little note to Dea and Jan', then deleting his thread ???

Did I miss someone sending me a sessage?

Must go and see if any of my 'in the middle of working on' threads have disappeared?

Dea x

P.S. - Good morning everyone !!

Just going to have a look at the breakfast menu !

The overseers are being a lot less heavy-handed with those things these days, it seems. I haven't had a holiday in quite a while.

The pinned posts suggest that they may have got a tiny clue ...

I'm quite amused at how someone who used to berate me for bullying is nothing if not snarky about people breaking rules, or even just being clueless, these days!

Ok for J C I will add Pablum to the menu

Had one earlier who had posted a little note to Dea and Jan which meant nothing to anyone else.

So I suggested he added to his thread, which in the end all he did was add "some people get upaty" or something like that.

So I made a comment that I was only trying to help and I wont bother anymore then

To which he deleted the whole two page thread ummmm

Keep going like that Ja...x and you will end up with as many "little holidays"from GR as Janey soon.

And we wouldnt like Janey to loose her crown for that..:))

I must say JC I have been following that thread as I started off the row lol

But being the "appointed boards police" I decided to keep out of it, you have a better way with words than me.

I have only managed to upset three people today not bad going really

Probably, but I havent been doing many searches recently as I have been weighed down slightly with other things.

But I do think you won that "discussion"rather handsomely Janey...;)

Irene !!!!!

A person with a retinal detachment (which is what she has) MAY NOT FLY.

-- no wait, hang on -- may not fly *after* surgery, because of the gas bubble -- I was in too much of a rush to avert possible disaster! But she should check for sure before doing it.

She needs medical attention immediately -- surgery to repair the tear if it is not repairing itself.

Recall, I went through this with No.1 in June/July.

Robert, I can eat whatever I like now now! Yesterday, after breaking the molar on a turkey salad sandwich in the recovery room, I ate a pile of cheesies and then, after napping for a few hours, a whole package of Kraft Dinner. Mmmm. Tonight is curried chicken.

Prunes, of any sort, are , I am afraid, off the menu. They make me puke, and they trigger memories of being forcefed them by Josie, the vicious nurse's aide henchwoman of the vile tyrant Sister St Benedict who tormented and abused me and my family for three months when I was a kid in hospital, the beginnings of that complex PTSD that now turns me into a ball of anxiety about so many things ... so you can keep those prunes and maybe do something with them that saves them the journey from the mouth. Hahaha.
