Ginny

Grey highlight are all the rage - there must be millions of middle aged and very old ladies (like me) - now in full fashion

Natural grey highlights I have - with fake light blonde highlights to hide the grey

I'm like you Dea
Must have a car, sits on my drive doing nothing most of the time and I have only driven it about a dozen times myself in the year since I have had it.
M.o.t due in a couple of weeks doubt if it has done more than a 1000 miles hopefully it will be ok.

Hi Ginns,

I hate being without my car, even for a few hours - Not that I ever really go anywhere but if I haven't got it I just feel that I CAN'T !!!

Luckily, it is a lovely little car - always sails through it's MOT, even though it celebrated it's 21st birthday last year !! - Never let's me down though and does't cost a penny.

In fact, the tax disc on the window is probably worth more than the car!!

Grandaughter LOVES it - she gets in and chants 'Grannies car, sounds like a motorbike", over and over again !!

It's done less that 60,000 miles though and actually runs very well !!

Wouldn't change it for the world !!

Nooo Cyn...I need to find some "clever"friends........

That is only the tip of the iceberg that has a huge and unscaleable wall at the moment....

FannyByGaslight Report 6 Sep 2010 14:09

Was thinking about Janey this morning as well while I was ummmm, well thinking of Janey doing what I was doing.

I wondered if she had been out before hand and stocked up on some very soft tissue and maybe some wet wipes as well?
Wet wipes are really handy for slight accident cleaning up in a hurry when out...

Poor Fans...........I don't mind being your friend, but I'm not as clever as t'others.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 6 Sep 2010 14:00

Passing bacon butty to help the worker(s).

Wonder how Janey is? Dashing back and forth a certain room probably! Imagine her phone calls today.....

"Hi Janey....how are you today?"

"Oh hi.......I'm absolutely.................arghhhh.....must dash, I'll call you back".

"Back again........arghhhh.....gotta go,........ bye".

Poor thing.

Well, got my new pans....very nice they are too. Also got a new laptop tray with a little light attached. I could've spent a forturne in that shop. Have warned OH that new curtains may be due within the next few months.............he was SO impressed.....not.

Its Mary Ann/e Hurley on other census and Albert JOHN Hurleys b/c,,,I cant find either of the parents before 1861 either....

Albert JOHN Hurley was born in September 1851,so didnt make 1851 census...
And they are not at his birth address in 1851 either.

Edits...And John born 1827 dies in late 1861,so not on any more census to double check his birth place.
Mary Anne has a child after his death,2 yrs later !then she and child Laura go totally AWOL after 1871.

Might go for some grey highlights this time, all the rage.

Your going to PAY to have some added? Just dont have the hair redyed and its all for free by mother nature...

As I have no doubt you already know from having to have your hair roots touched up.

Bacon butty please ,whoever is cooking...
