Have a go at the 2 week free trial that Ancestry offer.

I prefer A to FMP and yes A have all the BMD records that are available

All here

thinking of either renewing on Findmypast - or trying Ancestry

What are your opinions please - does Ancestry have birth index to date - like FMP fully indexed - or just use freebmd

Renes

as my tree is all but finished ( the remaining few will have to await the 1921 census or are lost forever
- thinking of trying some lookups - to keep me amused thru the winter

Whats with 'Giiny'!

Well, I should get to hear all the goings on as I guest lecture at City......ha ha ha

Big school........how scary was that. Ours had just over 2000 students, a big change from my little primary place

......all the same......I hated every minute of it

Hope your son enjoys his college - the first day is always the worst - but for all of them enrolling today - they will all feel the same

Grandson starts "big" school Monday - he is nervous - but I said it is only for the first day - I still remember - with fear - my first day at grammar - it seemed huge and had an upstairs - the prefects petrified me

But liked it when I was one !!!

No 1 son enrols at 9.00am this morning for college. Phone call last night......

............mom I don’t suppose you have my GCSE results list (from 8 years ago)

Yes darling I do.....surprised gasp from the other end of the phone.

I also have the tea towel you made in year 5, the smelly thing you made in year 4 still hangs in my bedroom and the painting of me from year 3.....that’s best left in your box!

So, I offered to drive over last night to drop them off. No no says No 1 son....I'll pick them up on my way to City campus in the morning

5 mins ago..........can you meet me at City campus with the results!!!!

Does he not know how bad the rush hour is.....it’s not going to happen

Anyhow the thing that made me smile was re visiting his results.....A's and B's all 10 of them

I remember Popeye's baby Sweetpea.....used to crawl around in a long nightie thing didn't he/she?

I like Sweetpea flowers - very fragrant but with a short lifespan.

Ginny

Yes but they bury it -

Janey - my 5 cats are all Feral - I had six - but one died in March

The mother and father Lilly and Billy are brother and sister - she gave birth to 4 sons

Sweetpea - Lynford Christie - Jet Ski and our beloved Blanco boy - who died

They all had cat flu

First cats I have ever owned

Renes

Edit - Sweetpea was the name of Popeye and Olives - baby
