Oooh Cyns

JB has a team of 'Health Trainers' in the organisation (community based)

To be flooded out.........thats really bad and sad :-(

I wont tell you about KF....MOT failed last week, as you know. Took it to Sytner today..............

........................passed with flying colours. Where, KW had failed it on emissions, Sytner are reporting them for either, incompetence or telling fibs

They are reporting them to VOSA

I'll wait and hear what the outcome is.........but I will not be going to QF for an MOT :-|

Ohh Cynthia - I just looked back and saw your last post.

SO, OH has a day off then (lucky him) ;-) Not so lucky for his Health Trainer though - I would HATE to have my home flooded. It makes so much mess and takes such a long time to get it back into some sort of order !! :-(

I was wondering about your pedometer ?

Can you tell how many steps you have taken whilst walking along or do you have to take the think off your shoe and look at it at the end?

Good morning all !

Don't worry about us Sylvia - we always 'muddle through' somehow, though no where up to your standards ;-) - You just have a lovely time <3

I think the Huevos Rancheros for me today please !

Nite nite for now,

Oh dear .. Health Trainer has just phoned to cancel the appointment for OH this morning. Apparently he is flooded out.....poor, poor man. He said he just feels so helpless - there are fields at the back of his house and they are so waterlogged that they are overflowing. I would hate that to happen. :-( :-(

Good morning Sylvs - do you mean you WON'T be available from Sunday til Thursday? Tuts.....not going off enjoying your self AGAIN?

Some people.

Can't stay home for one minute.

Always gallivanting.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thank you for breakfast - just toast for me please.

We seem to be having the wettest September at the moment - some areas are having 6months rainfall in 1 day apparently :-0

It's just poured and poured here and we have a bit of a leak over our front window. This hasn't happened for a couple of years so the rain must be hard. It only happens when the rain is blowing in a certain direction - think we may need to get our double glazing looked at.... :-( :-(

OH is off to see his 'Health Trainer' this morning. Same sort of schedule as I have - diet and exercise checks. I can see that we are going to be competing for who can clock up the most steps on our pedometers.... :-D

Back later ~~~~~

It is wonderful indeed Sylvs. I've heard of similar cases over here and yes, it must be comforting for the family to have closure.

We're just watching the new episode of Midsomer Murders....I think OH is finding it a bit tame after the excitement of his US shows.....tuff....I'm enjoying it :-D :-D

It was lovely seeing the grandchildren today...... <3 <3 Tomorrow night, my granddaughter is being presented with some sort of award at school but she doesn't know what for. It must be something good because there are tickets available for her parents... :-S

I'm just fascinated, listening to the radio.

The RCMP have held a news conference announcing they have solved a "cold case" of a 16 year old girl who was murdered in BC in 1974.

They praised the work of the police back then, for the investigation they'd done, and the way they had collected the forensic evidence.

It meant that a good sample of DNA could be extracted from it early this year ................ and it was matched by Intepol and the Americans to a man who died in prison in 2006.

It has also meant that this guy is now being investigated for murders across the US, and for some more in BC dating as far back as 1974.

Closure for one family at least.

But, isn't science wonderful?!
