After all the fuss this week about 'poor' Kate Middleton, I did hear a funny on radio 4 - Apparently Kate Middleton is an anagram for 'naked t*t model ' !!! :-D

I did feel sorry for her though as she is still quite young and is obviously very upset by this invasion of her privacy !!

That's what fame brings you though, unfortunately !

Off to hang out the washing which has been sitting in the machine while I played with GD. She is now playing with Grampa and his Ipad!

Gins - You have reminded me of when my son was doing his pre reg year away from home his then girlfriend (now my lovely D-I-L) was visiting him and I get a phone call. Mum how long does it take to cook a baked potato?

Em depends on size etc! lol

He used to come home at the weekends and would ask me to cook something different so he could learn how to make it.

They are both now good cooks/bakers and he makes some lovely cakes!

It's miserable here too.......... damp and dull :-(

Went to help my friend clear out some more cupboards yesterday and she has a whole shelf full of family photos, in albums, in wallets and loose. Then, I found a carrier bag crammed with OLD photos! I was nearly besides myself and told her that if I would give my eye teeth to have such a plethora of old photos. They were just in a heap - no names or anything!! She just isn't interested in them though :-(

When we had the really bad winter here in 2010 I was the only one who had a front wheel drive none of the boys or OH could get their fancy cars to move :-D

boy was I popular should have hired my car out would have made a mint ;-)
