I always remember my grandson's birth as it was just a few weeks before that I got 'very poorly' !

I couldn't go to see him in hospital or visit him when he first came home - I went to see him soon after and looked at him through the window so I wouldn't pass on to him anything nasty (I had not been diagnosed at that time) !

I am 'safe' now and have a lovely relationship with him !!

Ohhh the joys of being a grandparent !!!!!!!!! ;-) :-D :-D :-D

It is my grandson's 4th birthday tomorrow and I am looking at his present just before I wrap it !

Parents told me this was what he wanted (appart from the 3 million things he has seen on the TV recently and which he wanted ALL iof them !!).

It is a set of 5 figures !! =- Batman and all the baddies !! - It is to go with his new batman cave and batmobile !!

Hope he likes it !!!

400 degrees F = 200 degrees C = Gas mark 6 !!

Does this help ???

Dea

Dea Report 16 Sep 2012 15:40

Thanks Dea.........I'll try a bit of the skin and see!

Dea

Dea Report 16 Sep 2012 14:42

OOOppps - just realised you said do you 'eat' the skins, not do you 'cook' them.

The answer is - it is a matter of choice!

You can eat them if you wish but if you don't like them, just eat the middles!

Bake figs, skin on, rubbed with olive oil !

Cut a cross in the top and stuff them with goats cheese - 400 degrees for about 10 - 12 minutes in the oven ??

Serve drizzled with honey

I am curious now, how did you get that ring off? What is the method that 'always works' ?? :-S

Jax, rather than risk losing it, if you can't get it to fit, why not put it on a nice chain and wear it as a necklace?

jax

can't think of any suggestion for you .......... unless a jeweller could "stretch" it enough to fit your ring finger ???
