we see lots of obese dogs and cats over here



We saw one last week .......... a very obese Sealyham, couldn't waddle more than a few steps without having to stop.

He was seemingly elderly, but still ................................

physio has been cancelled ........ he's sick


now why couldn't he have known yesterday that he would be sick today, so I wouldn't have had to get up earlier than usual???




oh yes, yesterday was a Stat holiday :-D

I suppose you can prove anything with statistics Ginns ;-)

I expect that we are living longer that we were 100 years ago BUT, when 'true obesity took a hold - maybe 10 - 30 years ago, then the figures will start to go down very soon as theystart to 'pop off' early !!

It depends when you take the 'figures' and when you 'compare them to' !!

Stats say we are living longer as opposed to 100 years ago when you lucky to reach 50!

How come people are living longer due to a healthy diet Ginns when 3/4 of the population are said to be grosely obese due to a very bad one ??? :-S

AND - I can see that is true because I see SO many people, especially quite young ones 'wobbling about' around town and using the mobility scooters at the supermarket!

It is quite frightening !! :-(

Perhaps their owners are eating all the food and not sharing very much with them ??

When are you going on this 'Luxury Cruise' ???

I have a day off from the grandchildren today Cynths but back on duty tomorrow !!!

I have spent the WHOLE day ripping up and shredding old paperwork etc which is cluttering my Office space !!

After all that effort I 'haven't even touched the sides', as they say ! :-(

BUT, If I keep going, I will get there in the end !

I have managed to get up to date with the vacuuming of the house (thanks to my new little tiny vacuum cleaner) so I am at least making progress of some sort. :-D
