Not sure they make 'em like that anymore either Cynths !! :-)

As you know, I am not into 'religion' but I DO respect the very few 'really good' people that there are in the world !! - 'Vicars or no'

I think that you may be included in that list Cynths.

I have a passion................

for the latest white cars.........especially the Range Rover and the Nissan. <3

Dream away Cyns...........you'll be stuck with your little yaris for a long time to come.... :-(

Are you pleased that OH has migrated back to the bedroom Sylvs or were you enjoying being in 'solitary' ???? :-D

Yes Dea, the lunches are still served but it must seem strange to the wedding party to have the aroma of lunches wafting through the church..... :-D :-D

Yep, he's a busy chap our vicar. Last week he was spending every spare hour he could with a dying parishioner and her family - even going at 4am when she passed gently away. Not sure they make them like that anymore to be honest.

I am assuming I have been 'migrated'.....I couldn't get on the internet earlier so went and reset the router......voila! Here I am - just to annoy you...... :-D

I should be delighted as it will take my monthly bill right down by over £15 :-D :-D :-D

I'm trying to downsize my photo albums to a more manageable size - I have literally thousands of photos dating from the end of the c19th. Any ideas anyone??? Don't know whether to keep them in albums or boxes or ?????

Gins Im like Dea a car is a car is a car as long as it gets me from A to B I dont care what it looks like .

BUT OH and sons like their cars.

When we had the really bad weather in Nov 2010 to Feb 2011 was it the BMW's Honda's or Jags that were on the road!

Nope just my wee Corsa that everyone borrowed and it got them all where they needed to be everytime :-D

OH assurres me that your new car is really nice :-)
Enjoy (when you get it) <3

I have finally made an appointment next Wednesday to be fitted with a Holter monitor .......... a 24 hour test for blood pressure.

The systolic has been bouncing around and is higher than it should be, even though I am on bp pills.

The doc gave me the requisition back in late June, but we've been so busy ....... plus I've also been dealing with the pre-diabetes diet, etc.

Mind you, it won't mean anything to me - I can tell the diffference between a mini and a Rolls Royce but anything inbetween looks just the same to me :-S :-D

I have a white one and hubby has a bigger sandy gold type of one!

Son has a blue one which is bigger than mine and his FIL has one that looks just the same as his but has 7 seats in it :-S :-)

A car is just a car at the end of the day and I really DO love mine !!!

I am sure that I was the only one in our neighbourhood who didn't know the significance of my neighbour's visitor last year in his Aston Martin ! - I thought it sounded quite like mine only much louder !!

Dea Xxx

jax Report 31 Aug 2012 19:31

Is it a leased car or are you buying it?

We had a few nice leased cars when we had a business and it was offset against any tax we had to pay.

I could have a brand new car using the mobility part of my DLA if I wanted...but cannot see the point, money can be used for other things.I worked it out three years ago that I would be paying approx 8k over 3 years and would have nothing to show for it when I had to give it back.

So I spent the same money buying a car and 3 years later the car is probably still worth 4k

Hi all
xxx

another sunny day ......we're apparently in another period of high pressure ........ with sunny days, temps in the low 20s, and blue skies forecast through to about next Wednesday

There's that little nip in the air though!

The duvet has been very welcome the last couple of nights ............... and OH has migrated back to the double bed from his lonely splendour in the basement!
