Good morning all!

I did notice that you served brunch yesterday Sylvs and though I had got my days mixed up but I didn't say anything as I thought you might cancel it and it was SO lovely to sit and eat it in fromt of that roaring fire!!! ;-) <3

I will have to pile my plate high and 'run' today as I still have grand-daughter here and she is waiting to play 'Uno' and make trifle and make scones so I have a busy morning ahead!............

See you all later,

Don't you just love messages like that Sylvs ?? :-D

I am slightly cream crackered after today's festivities - daughter's birthday. Son and his family came for tea including 3 year old step grandson. He is a litte love and very funny. We were playing Cluedo and he sat at the end of the table playing with an ipad quite happily and very competently! Puts me to shame...... :-D

No Dea? Jax?

Funny week though isn't it? So much going on in different ways. Roll on next week.

I fink I need my beauty sleep.....................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Night all.

daughter phoned while we were out yesterday, left a message on the tape.

"we lost, misplaced, the box of presents you sent before Christmas, but have just found them. Thank you very much. (2 or 3 non-understandable sentences). MJ loves his books. Talk later"

I still cant face breakfast no matter how nice it looks. Ive had a really bloated, crampy stomach for about a week now :-(

I ice skated every day when I was young, loved it and wouldnt mind giving it another go now....we have a massive rink next to the English Institute of Sport

Might go and see a film instead as JB wouldnt be able to stand up on ice

Been ruddy hosing down all day here... lots of flooding poor old Nelson (top of South Island) has copped a fair whack of it after a big deluge not that long ago.

We had a bit of a Lake Persie or maybe it was the River Styx out front of our place today, it has dried up again now. And our best umbrella broke when we were out..

I'd need a zimmer frame to go skating... ;-) :-S :-S

I don't think we have turkey sausages here, not that I'm bothered.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 30 Dec 2011 08:43

Thank you Sylvs........it looks wonderful and tastes even better. :-D

Does that mean that LK is going swimming and bowling then??? :-S

It's my daughter's birthday today so my time will be taken up by that. Probably out all afternoon and then son and dil coming for a meal.

I think I'd rather go ice skating :-S :-S :-S :-S
